But as for the Lions, it's obvious who has an advantage with Messmer's flame being able to burn away the soul and his spears that skewer them up from the ground. But with the giants, who have a powerful roar that can cause earthquakes, it's less likely Messmer would have as easy of a time. Still potentially able to beat them, but at a higher difficulty, potentially.

It holds concepts of nature itself . The elden ring itself is the concept of order . This would qualify as a platonic concept . Platonic concepts scale to outer via the csap wiki . So in summary malenia in her rot goddess form could potentially get to low outerversal . Meaning malenia would absolutely obliberate the entire sekiro universe 10times over .

@@aurtosebaelheim5942 I will argue that deflection is an in-lore thing due to how many skills specifically reference it and how big of a deal it’s treated in the manga. Isshin isn’t actually using the spear as a lightning rod. In fact the lightning is doing the literal opposite it should be and going towards the lower end of the spear in the air

@@damienmcneff7715 Some, maybe most deflections are deflections, but not necessarily all of them. I'm only saying that it shouldn't be used as a benchmark for strength. If Sekiro is strong enough to deflect the Divine Dragon then he should also be able to turn his opponents to jelly with a single punch, but no, it takes him a few attacks minimum to break through blocks. A Mikiri Counter with that much force should break whatever weapon is being used for it. Hell, what is Sekiro's sword made of that it can endure that punishment. Sekiro being able to deflect the Divine Dragon requires you to jump through far more hoops than simply saying "it's a gameplay mechanic because it would be weird to introduce a whole new gameplay gimmick for one fight". Is the whole of Ashina populated by superhumans equipped with hyper-durable fantasy alloys or is the Divine Dragon simply a spectacle fight that breaks from the game's regular logic? Isshin's lightning attack animation is complicated and could be one of two things, but neither indicate faster-than-lightning reactions. Lightning strikes the ground and stays there for ~half a second before his spear touches it, when his spear touches it, a second, stronger lightning strike hits his spear. This could be like the Divine Dragon fight, where only certain, localised areas carry enough charge for a lightning rod to function. This isn't entirely unlike how lightning rods function in the real world (imagine a big sphere moving through the sky, lightning strikes the first thing that sphere comes in contact with, which might not be the highest thing). Alternatively, the lightning bolt literally just sticks around for a second and Isshin dips his spear in it. Either way, he's not catching a lightning bolt mid-flight, he's reacting to the initial lightning strike that happens half a second earlier.

@ no, Isshin is jumping in air and the lightning is hitting his spear (at the lower end). Sekiro’s sword is likely taken the brunt of the force he’s deflecting, because he obviously can’t take multiple of the attacks he deflect. The material isn’t known but Ashina is home to Lazulite and adamantite. Material that is unbreakable in lore.
