PAINTBALL!!
I’ve been a ‘baller since I was 13 back in 1998.
Played some outlaw ball at a friends house and was hooked.
Since then I’ve had the opportunity to play along side two of my best friends all these years, from rev-ball then tournaments to now scenario games.
And I might throw in some other things that I find interesting.

“The Hatching” Just a Routine Mission??

“The Hatching”
Sergeant Calder’s boots clanged against the metal deck as he descended into the darkened cargo bay. The mission seemed routine-clear out the infestation and seal the breach. But the moment the doors opened, the smell hit him: sour, rancid, like decaying meat and something… worse.
His helmet’s HUD flickered as he scanned the bay. The walls, once pristine, were now slick with a viscous, glistening fluid. Dark, bulging sacks pulsed along the ceiling, twitching with life.
“Any contact yet?” he radioed to his team.
Static. Silence.
Calder stepped forward, pulse rifle at the ready. His boots crunched against the floor, a sickening squish beneath. He froze. He couldn’t see them, but he could feel them-moving, watching. The hairs on the back of his neck prickled.
Suddenly, from the shadows, a low, chittering sound. It was followed by another, and then another. Calder spun, aiming into the dark, but nothing moved.
He took a step forward. A second later, the lights flickered. In that instant, a wave of skittering bodies flooded out of the walls, alien bugs the size of his forearm. Their grotesque, segmented bodies glistened with a slick, black substance.
They were fast-too fast. And they weren’t alone.
From the ceiling, something larger dropped with a wet thud, its mandibles snapping inches from his face. The creature was the size of a man, its segmented limbs like twisted blades, dripping with the same viscous goo. Its beady, yellow eyes locked onto him, and Calder fired.
But his shots barely slowed it down. The creature’s shriek was deafening as it charged. Behind it, the walls rippled as more bugs emerged, their chittering forming a cacophony that drowned out all reason.
Calder backed away, unloading round after round into the swarm. But the bugs didn’t die. They crawled over his armor, clawing, biting, burrowing in through the seams.
He could feel them inside.
The horror of it-the realization that the creatures were everywhere-tore at his sanity. His vision blurred as he staggered backward, desperately trying to reload, but his hands were shaking, blood spilling from every orifice as the things inside him feasted.
The last thing he saw was the queen. She emerged from the shadows, her massive, bloated form heaving with grotesque eggs, the size of basketballs. And as she crawled toward him, the final, terrible sound was the wet squelch of her brood hatching all around him.
In the dark, the bugs would always win.

Alabama. This was the winning touchdown then GA Hail Mary to their guy at goal line and Xavier Brown also number 2 Intercepted the ball right out of the guys arms! I actually think the GA guy never saw the ball till he was catching it right in his face!

My first gun was a tippman lol. Then my dad got me a spyder. Eventually I convinced them to get me a shocker 2 for $650 or so but after that I was on my own. Got a job literally just only to pay for paintball. Bought a newer shocker a year or two later, kitted it out, played a few tournies got a sponsorship. Won a free dm9, then joined the military and just never had time for it again and sold everything. I miss it sometimes, but I can’t justify getting back into it these days.

i recommend a emek for the little man. its light weight and really really REALLY reliable and efficient. with electrical markers, they have a higher chance of having problems and he can forget turning on the gun and much more before a round starts. Keep up the content. Have fun paintballin’!
Thanks for watching. This was taken back in 2022. A scenario team gave him the set up for free. But I agree the emek is a great marker. You keep on ‘ballin yourself! :)

Axe 2.0 that’s my first one but I got mine in purple
Axe 2.0 was my first one too! Awesome starter gun, although mine can be finicky with paint. A new barrel makes it 10x better

@@novanity9611 CRBN nano barrel. 689 bore insert is the only one I use. It’s nice and quiet. Tbh though, if you’re set on playing paintball and want a good gun, save the money and buy an etha 3 at least. I got a used Dye M3+ and it’s lightyears above the Axe. The difference in performance is worth the money.

My first was a Brass Eagle Talon. $30 all my friends got them and it got us all into paintball.
Mine too!! Back in 1998. Then “upgraded” to a Brass Eagle Tigershark 👍
