What a beautiful exhibit, Theresa! congratulations! I love seeing so many of your Florida influenced works. I noticed your beautiful orange sunsets and many times that is what I am attracted to when I am in Florida. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful there. Stunning show!

Hi are you using this easel or wish to sell?
I am still using this easel and still love it. Thanks for asking
Hi are you using this Strada or you wish to sell?
Hi Chinmaya, Yes, I’m using this Strada micro easel. I don’t believe Strada makes this smallest one anymore. It is not for sale. But I appreciate you asking. One never knows. Hope you have a pleasant day.
I want to paint with her too! Thank you for the informative review!
You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
I like the mini easel.
Thank you for this review! I want to go paint with her!
Diana McGregor Aw! Thanks Diana. Haven’t been able to get in much Plein air lately due to taking care of my mom, but getting the itch with fall like temperatures hitting Kentucky this week. Happy painting!
Sweet.
Thanks Anna!
Beautiful work.... perfect answer!!! Do you still like the Strada box and do you regret going with a smaller size?
Hi Rob. Thank you for commenting. Glad you enjoyed my answer to a question that every artists probably hears many times. Yes, I do still like my small Strada easel. I seldom work Plein air with any size larger than 12x9 and wanted something compact. It is also a very sturdy little box.
Greetings from Englewood , FL! I enjoyed your videos. I use a French easel and paint 98% of the time plein air. I use a luggage carrier with wheels to pull my easel up to a mile. I keep my bushes and paints in a backpack. Yet I covet your set up- thinking about a Strada or Day Tripper- like to have the option to go to11x14, but mostly paint smaller. Like to think I could easily carry my set up on a plane...have done so with the French, but it cracked from being thrown about in the cargo. Also, other easels are SO expensive.
Hi Penny! Englewood is not too far from our N. Fort Myers home. So glad you enjoyed my videos. I also have a larger wooden pochade box that fits into a wheeled back pack that I have hauled many places, including Spain. I held my breath hoping it wouldn’t get crushed on the plane ride. But I wanted something smaller that would take up less room and be lighter weight so decided on the smaller Strada easel. I do like it. I have a little wooden thumb box that I bought from Utrecht many years ago that I love but it will only hold a 6x8 horizontal or a 8x10 vertical. So the Strada is more flexible with size of panels I can use.
thumbbox....how cute a name...!!
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!
The more I read and watch vids on the Strada, the more I like it. Though I'm still baulking at the initial cost since it's just a hobby past-time. I have a wheeled tool-box now that holds my paints and gear that doubles as a seat. But I don't like the tripod-rig I have now, and I don't need the storage of a pochade box, just the easel and palette space. I'm not so concerned about the weight since I drag everything around with me in the back of my SUV.
I understand T. It took me a long time to decide on my first pochade box years ago. I have three now and enjoy them all.
Nice one
Looks great!
Thank you Clay!
Lovely. May I ask the location? I am a retired RN in Florida & purchased water mixable paints to try. I like the compact size & weight of micro Strada. It looks like you tape your paper to a board? Any hints appreciated, as new to process. Jeanne
Hi Jeanne. I'm in North Fort Myers. on this day I had taped a scrap piece of canvas to a board. I lay a 6x8 board down on canvas and trace around to get the size then tape to an 8x10 board. This is nice for traveling. Just bring cut pieces of canvas and 2 or 3 boards to mount them on. Happy painting!
Are you satisfied with the small palette size? Enough space for mixing?
Since I paint thinly and use just a few colors it works fine for me. If you are used to a big palette mixing area it will be an adjustment.
Theresa Shelton Thank you for the reply. I chickened out and got the mini, which is what, an inch bigger? LOL BTW, I loved your demo and painting. Hope you post more videos. Very generous of you. Happy Painting!
Appreciate you letting me know you enjoyed the little videos and.....the encouragement to do more. Just getting my feet wet with this platform.
Happy Birthday! What a terrific set up!
Thanks Debbie! It is a neat little box.
Hello Theresa. Is a side tray was in a set? Or do you bought two pieces?
Hi Rafal, The side trays were ordered extra. You can order one or two. I thought it would be wise to order both at the same time so I would know for sure they would nest inside each other. The palette in the side was also ordered extra. Hope that helps you.
Yes! :) Thanks a lot. I make my order soon. 290$ and shipping costs to Poland (80$) :)
Good luck Rafal and happy painting! I will try to post another video when I actually get paint on mine. Thanks for watching!
Thank you Theresa , You too :)
