Master clarinetist Milan Milosević with the Zagreb Quartet | Brahms, Clarinet Quintet Op. 115
Milan Milosević and the brilliant Zagreb Quartet performing Johannes Brahms, Clarinet Quintet Op. 115
Dubrovnik Summer Festival
00:00 - I. Allegro
10:08 - II. Adagio
21:30 - III. Andantino - Presto
26:12 - IV. Con Moto
Milan Milosevic - clarinet basset
Martin Krpan - violin
Davor Philips - violin
Hrvoje Philips - viola
Martin Jordan - cello
"Among the many versions available, this is an outstanding example, played with tender, sensitive and knowing awareness of all the subtleties that chamber music demands. The individuals each contribute with the kind of interplay not often heard as this can often be a clarinet solo with some strings. Not in this case, as there is constant communication, dynamic fluidity, rhythmic details and a bold, overall concept that allows for Brahms' almost "symphonic" voice to be heard. Engaging and rich with feeling. Great!!!"

Légère Signature for Clarinet | Product Series
Переглядів 2,3 тис.2 роки тому
The Signature clarinet reed is perfectly centred. It produces a warm, rich tone in all registers of the instrument. The Signature is thinner and stiffer than a cane reed generating a clear, focused sound requiring minimal effort from the player. All clarinet players will enjoy the even and robust sound this reed delivers.

The Studio Cut is medium-bright, bold, and punchy, perfect for live settings when you need to get loud. Access a hard-hitting sound without effort at your next gig or recording session. The Studio Cut is recommended for players who have tried the American Cut and Signature but need even more punch.
Légère Classic for Clarinet | Product Series

The Classics for clarinet are extremely durable. The thicker tip material makes for effortless projection while providing a darker sound. The Classic is available in Standard and German Cuts. German Cut reeds are designed to play on German/Oehler system clarinets. All Classic reeds are more percussive than the Signatures, making them ideal for marching bands and large ensembles. Available for B...

Переглядів 1,7 тис.3 роки тому
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of the American Cut reed range to include soprano and baritone sax! Since the release of the American Cut for alto and tenor saxophones in late 2020, the medium-bright, crisp sounding jazz reed has gone on to become one of our most popular cuts. Like the alto and tenor reeds, soprano and baritone players can expect stability, easy response, and a clear,...

Everyone of them sounding like a buzzing mosquito 😂
Фантастическая игра! Bravissimooooo👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Fan-freaking-tastic! It seems like all the jazz greats since 1938 (especially woodwinders) have recorded Cherokee; in my humble opinion, they all pale in comparison to Greg's recording here. And, recorded live! This just takes my breath away.
Very,very nice...compact sound
What strength are you playing?
Got some new legre reeds
If repetitive lip syndrome were a thing Paul should have it. I'll keep listening as long as he keeps playing!
Love you guys playing. Helps me remember October 7 th tomorrow. God bless you both. Bill. Uk 🎶
Brad Rambur, saxophonist wearing the Superman shirt, plays a lot. Congratulations!
How do you clean the reeds? What desinfection should you use?
A mí amigo Gerald todo le queda bien 🎶🎷💪🏽
❤
Tried French cut Legere #3.75 and #4 on a Meyer 5M alto mouthpiece. The tip of the #3.75 collapsed easily. The #4 played, but I don't care for the sound. Tried #3.5 and #3.75 French Cut Legere on medium-close, medium facing clarinet mouthpieces that normally work well with Vandoren #3.5 reeds and the tip of the #3.5 French cut collapsed easily. The #3.75 played ok, but again, I don't like the sound much. I think the Legere European cut is better for clarinet, and I use the standard Legere cut for alto sax. Not sure what Legere was hoping to achieve with the French cut, but for me they have been a dud, except maybe for a crude trad-jazz type of sound for clarinet.
TOP
beastly toots
この人を目標にしてクラリネット頑張ります…!
Un gran homenaje. Talento extraordinario y sensibilidad ❤
Still playing table tennis???:)
Bravo!
👏👏👏👏👏👏 Perfecto
After just a few months of use the text on top of the reed wore out from the friction. It's a bummer, and I don't like the design much because of that.
When you face the final boss
The French cut for saxophone is Just amazing🙏
BRAVISSIMO !!!!!!!!!!!!
このクラリネットになりたい
It took me two years to discover that the name of the tenor saxophonist wearing the Superman shirt is Brad Rambur.
Esse clarinetista é fantástico!
I recently purchased my first Legere oboe reed. I am wondering if it causes more pressure in my head, when I play. Could you please tell me your thoughts on this. I am 71 years old.
Could you please tell me if you feel more pressure in your head with the Legere reed?
Бомбезно!!!Особливо де А.Сандовал.
Super!!!!!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULLY BRILLIANT!!!
What mouthpiece & what strength?
Very good
I love the studio cut been using them for years I will never use a cane reed again I play daily and they last a month or sometimes longer save a lot of money in the long run buying reeds thanks legere
Thank you Tom. God bless you. Where can I get your book? Bill. UK
just now switched to American Cut after a month of steady practice with them for Alto and Soprano ( 2 and 2.5 ) just wish they designed the case to have a slot to keep the tip flat I just insert it the other way but an excellent reed A+++
This man is good
He's playing Holdsworth lines.
Aspirational!
Which size do you use?
Unglaüblich!
Mamma Mia , Que manera de tocar el clarinete !
I found that just having a consistent reed improved my sound quality tremendously. I bought one for my Selmer Tenor Mark 7 and used it with a John Coltrane mouthpiece. The results were just phenomenal. I wash it in warm water and I'm ready to go. No warmup required. Great Product and well worth the price.
Qual ? É a numeração dela que corresponde há 2,5 pra sax alto
Dear Sir can I ask you what strength American cut did you use thank you
The kid in the video keeps awful hand and finger positions, if he is doing a pantomime class, and not playing a saxophone for real.
This “kids” technique and finger positions are just fine haha. Dr. Jeffery Leung is a world class saxophonist.
@@mimmoq7960 I could be his father. I played the saxophone before that kid was born. His finger positions, which then results in poorer instrument articulation -- quite audible in this video -is at the beginner's level.
@@zvonimirtosic6171 lmao cool
You played sax before he was born but I would bet my entire bank account he plays circles around you and you couldn’t find a jury in the world would award you a prize over him. What an absolute moron (weren’t you also the person who commented on a video about the Claude mouthpiece that they should’ve gotten a classical player’s input?)
For real??? He’s playing classical saxophone, much more difficult than any jazz tone. Also he’s probably exponentially better than you☠️
basoon solo blew everyone else out of the water for me
Background music is so loud I can’t hear what Dr Leung is saying!
Same here
I love Légère reeds. However, this video gives a very poor example of the Studio Cut. I was expecting the dude to bust out some Maceo or Gerald Albright licks or something, not to just play a frickin major scale!
