They deliberately try to confuse you. I failed 9 years ago by 2 questions. Left crying and defeated. Decided to take it again and reminded myself the questions are set up to confuse you. I passed last week. You need to get 75 out of 120 correct answers.

I’m going to start AML preparation today. Will see how many months it’ll take for me to get prepared. Already paid the fee of $2457- including membership fee for one year. Will post my journey here! Might help someone and keep me motivated as well 😊

This was the single most useful video I've seen about passing the exam. Really helped me hone my studying to things I normally wouldn't focus on. To echo everything the author talks about, there is a surprising number of questions about EU directives, Wolfsburg, and Egmont. The questions are designed to trap you on the actual money laundering questions, and yes the exam is surprisingly difficult, even as someone with extensive experience in BSA audit

I've been waiting for more than a month to post this comment. CAFCA is my first certification as a new ACAMS member, was able to pass it on my first try without much issue. I'd like to point out that it is interesting that you view fintech jobs as lesser paid, since in my country it is the other way around. Banks are well known for not upping their salaries up to the market standards and relying on their names. The e-learning course was made with a robotic voice (which was disappointing, seeing as how I paid a total of 2 months salary for the membership and certification). The crypto part was definitely lackluster. (There was a more indepth crypto course in the child exploitation free course). All in all it gave a good introduction into the basics of compliance and AML without going into much detail beyond that. I've learned a lot in this past month and would definitely take this opportunity again if I could roll back the clock. Keep in mind that the above is first hand from someone who is new to the area of compliance. If you have any questions about this certification specifically, I would be happy to answer them.

I think I did stupid thing in the last year, since I did not know about Structuring. Since I was planned to relocate to new place I opened bank account there. Let's say Bank account A. I had 50000$ in my bank account in my country, let's say Bank account B. I started to transfer money from B to A in the following sequence: September 14, 2022 - 9000$ October 11, 2022 - 8000$ November 17, 2022 - 9000$ December 22, 2022 - Relocated to a new country and withdrew 9000$ and bring cash with me. Then deposit cash to A. I need to note that the money in B is totally from legal sources (my salary in the last few years), I can prove it. Now my question: Did I commit a Money Laundering crime in the above scenario? Both accounts are current accounts.

Hello KYCBC! I was trying to purchase the ACAMs exam to help in my studies and I realized it was in 3 parts all for a price. I was wondering why unless they are different questions in there and can you not bundle it for sale,please.

Thank's for your information. This is a banking industry but would you say that one muss posess typical (as one may think when speaking about banking) - numericall skills, ability to go through some complicated report data, accountant ability etc. or rather it's a job within the banking sector but having more to do with ... processing documentations, management of information ? Hence even people with more "humanistic" aptitudes can make it as well ?
