God bless
Unfortunately no one talks about this.
I’m so grateful to find this channel. I saw the recommendation on a Matt Fradd video. This has been extremely helpful for me and eye opening. Thank you ladies ❤
I was literally struggling with this and wished someone would talk about this. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this conversation. I have so many takeaways to focus on.
Thankyou
Like you said, hating can be the source of action. It isn't until you feel you hate your job so much that you don't leave it, until you hate the course of your life that you decide to take steps to change it. Of course the same applies to sin and addiction.
Farther Truss is a badass in every since of the word
What does "ft." mean?

This was incredibly insightful
Eeek, Magdala! Were those movie clips necessary to include? 😫🤔🥴 Kudos to Mary for sharing her story. God bless her on her recovery journey.
I'm sure not the target audience, but I got a lot out of this. Thank you, sisters. God bless.
Target audience is anyone who needs it. Thank you, friend!
wow. humor and light heartedness, is key. Jesus is not phased by our humaness. Thankyou Magdala for your beautiful honesty and relevant wisdom.
Thank you! This is so good to hear and comforting. Keep doing what you do!
Something I don't understand. When I relapse, it is because of what seems like extreme physical need. You both talk about your reasons for self abuse being related to emotional or psychological needs, but you never seem to address the the issue of just being extremely "horny" (forgive my language) and how hard it is to escape that feeling! What are we supposed to do when our bodies respond sexually to nothing at all, and there is no option for a procreative union to deal with this aching nagging thing? I don't think I do this because of feeling of insecurity, stress or loneliness, it seems to be directly connected to a biological drive. I developed a bad habit of dealing with that biological drive as a teenager, and now even in my 40's I can't seem to escape my sex drive!
Yeah I'd liked to know this too. In my 30s and I need and want to procreate badly. Doing my best to not relieve that feeling, but this so very hard. There are resources for men, but not for women. There is only so much running and praying I can do.
This is my issue too. Hormones, man. That, and my medication. I’m grateful the meds perk me up but wow I forgot how it makes me peak according to my cycle. Before I went back on this one, the maoi I take basically diffused these urges, or at least made them much easier to deal with. So my estimate is, at least for me, it’s something to do with getting more dopamine and probably more estrogen/drop in progesterone. Just a hypothesis, though, for now.
I am literally dealing with this as well.
This video was a blessing. Keep going, you´re doing a great job in the name of our Lord Jesus. We christians need to stick together talking openly about sin to serve as an example, as a light to the world. Keep it going for all the christian women out there from Spain
Thank you so much for creating this program-it almost makes me cry. I’ve been addicted to pornography since I was 12 (I’m 27 now) and I feel like it’s controlled my life. I wish to be set free. Thank you SO MUCH for creating a group for women-I’ve been looking for a group like this for 10 years since everyone always says it’s a male problem-which couldn’t be farther from the truth. When I found out this program existed I almost cried tears of joy knowing there was an entire community of women struggling in the same way I have. Thank you.
Why doesn't this have more views? Thank you so much for the wonderful advises and sharing your testimonies :)
Heard the talk on PwA between you and Matt about sexual addiction among women. I have to say, the tips and quips in battling self-hatred are applicable to sinning in general. Keep up the good work, ladies. 👍🏻
What is the name of the priest that talks about Humour as a virtue???
Great work you’re doing! God Bless.
I’m getting the fever/headache attack right now. Must be doing something right haha
Audio keeps cutting in and out.
An add to rent or buy "Redeeming Love" appeared as I watched this on UA-cam. 😄
Please ignore my previous comment. There was something wrong with my headphones.
No new vids?
I noticed they've been consistently posting episodes on Spotify!
Audio keeps cutting, it's so annoying
😶🍃
How do we express/ live out sexuality if we are single or unmarried (but in a relationship)? Around 24:52 what do you mean you can encounter Jesus on your own through sexuality? Do you mean like an abstraction of your feminine side/ spirit but not physically? Like how?
excellent episode. thank u
The girl who is not Rachel in this podcast, her microphone is muffled by the way. It's hard to make out what she's saying.
Yep! Had some technical difficulties on this one unfortunately!
I saw the preview. Looks like She was forced into prostitution or something. Terrible obviously but then there's a sec scene in the preview with the guy that comes to save her but he ain't saving anyone by not defending her purity in his time with her. It's less bad than prostitution sex but for the audience it gives the sense that his acts sexually with her are ok cause he supposedly cares about her. Wrong. He violates her purity even more dangerously in my opinion. Because his unchastity with her is disguised by some illusion of love, whereas with at least the other men who use her it's clear as day they don't care about her body. The supposed good guy is dangerous too. Acts like he loves her but also violated her body, giving the audience the sense that he and his sexual acts with her are true love. I'm damn tired of Hollywood and what it depicts love as and how so many women get caught up in it
Perhaps they're married in that scene. I don't know. If so I take my comment back minus Hollywood showing sex on screen
Hey Justin! Yes, the characters are married in those particular scenes, so our issue definitely wasn't with their relationship status, but rather the portrayal onscreen!
Thank u!
Yes!! Thank you both for speaking TRUTH!
This concept have been lingering in my heart... I always found self love culture sort of unfinished:) you pointed out things that I believe will show up in how God interacts with me.. taking my darkness and showing me what is beneath it all and what has always been there. Thank you!
Some hard but necessary truths 😅
Amen😇
This is so beautiful
I'd love to see you do a video with Dr. Taylor Marshall about this. He has such a wide audience and I think this content is just as important if not more important for parents. Like you both said in the video our parents very lovingly tried to teach us how to make our way in the world. It wasn't their fault that they didn't know how to have the right conversations with us. I think sharing your testimony and ministry with that broader audience would be so helpful for so many. My parents still have two 13 year old girls to raise as well as an 18 year old boy that is about to leave the house. I can imagine them finding this content surprising and informational.
Encounter lovers if you die today will you go to heaven? Have you ever lied, stolen, hated, used God's name as a curse word (O-M-G)? According to God's law, you're guilty, your headed for hell, ignorance will not be an excuse... But wait, God loves you, he made a way out for you, God's son Jesus died paying for your sin. God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not die but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Love Y'all
Thank you for this ministry. I'm struggling with addiction and pray the Lord frees me.
I've been learning a lot as a male listening to the show, and it also helps me understand my sisters in Christ.
♥
I love this podcast I wish it was more well known. Thanks for the encouragement admist my struggles ❤
My heart was touched when she said "He is gentle"
Thank you for this conversation!! I needed to hear it today❤️
thanks for this lovely conversation.
Love your podcast!
Do you have any advice on how to deal with presumption? I know when I'm tempted, it can be easy to think, "I'll indulge and just go to confession."
How do you find an accountability partner? I struggle with making friends as it is and connecting with my family. My mom and I have a complicated and rocky relationship. She once commented that she viewed masturbation as a healthy form of release.
wow so awesome! I've never heard that before... "your desires speak more about you than your sin" WOW SO GOOD.
