I lived here as a kid in the 90's - those mountains bring back so much nostalgia. Was obsessed with Jurassic Park and imagined myself living in the park surrounded by dinos hiding in the woods. Such good memories.

This is a nice area with the Skykomish River and the Cascades, but the town itself--at least as you drive through on highway 2--is junky beyond belief. They ought to call it Mold Bar. Which is a real shame.
