Seasonal Living
Приєднався 9 лют 2013
Hi everyone! Welcome to my channel, Seasonal Living. I am a firm believer in living seasonally, literally and metaphorically. We all have different seasons in our lives-good and bad...there is beauty and lessons in them all. Each one we should embrace and take what we can from them. Also, I try to live with the four seasons. I absolutely love savoring the special nature of each one and all that God's creation brings. In whatever season you are in I hope you can take something away from my videos. Welcome friends!
p.s. My favorite season is winter. Winter is so cozy, still, and beautiful. What's yours?
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.-Ecclesiastes 3:1

New subscriber! Wow! Your did great making use of your small space. You got everything you need and more. It is so cute as well. Thanks for sharing. Great job!
I hope I find you well in 2024!
I hope all is well these days 🧡
Thank you. Unfortunately, my husband divorced me unexpectedly. While life does not look like it did back then, we are doing ok with God's grace.
This is so organized, I loved it! Keep going <3
I wish The Happy Planner still made planners this seasonal and cute! I have looked online and can’t find this for sale anywhere
I agree! I recently bought the 18 month big happy planner that is seasonal. Not as cute but it will do!
@@seasonalliving2881 I actually took a screenshot of your video to try and find someone that had this and would sell it😂 I wish Happy Planner would make more currently pages like these. Have you seen the 2023 release?
@@AshleySmith-mb4rz ha! That’s too funny! I haven’t seen them yet. 😕
@@seasonalliving2881 they are just starting to roll out some videos on here…I’ve only seen 1 seasonal so far…I’m hoping they show more on the 6th!
Great review. What curriculum are you using for your younger child? Or what video is that info in? Thanks!
Thanks! My youngest was in Kindergarten at the time of this video. I think I have a video on our K curriculum. We actually use BJU now. 🙂
Thank you for your video! I would be very interested to see how you use the other binders for your filing system. Thank you! -Jul
This was great. Thank you 🙏
Thank you Amber! This was very helpful. I am considering CC for my 12 year old daughter. It it our first year homeschooling. I am just trying to figure out if it would be better for her to do Foundations/Essentials this year rather than jumping straight into Challenge A. I am worried that she’ll be stressed since she doesn’t know the system or any of the memory work. She just turned 12 in July and she has struggled a little in school, especially in Math. What do you think?
Hi! My daughter was also new to cc in 7th and we started with challenge A. It definitely would have helped her had she known a lot of the systems. We had to scale latin waaay down. But she still did great! I would definitely recommend learning the timeline song and get the cc app to start learning memory work. 😀 let me know if it have any more questions! (P.s. she now is graduating from a classical high school and bc of CC she has done great!)
This is great! Thank you. We are starting Challenge A and this is our very first year with CC. My son is going into 8th but we decided to go with Challenge A because of the material and since we were just starting, I feel it would be a better fit. I also love the Geography component of Ch. A as I did a pretty thorough comparison of A and B. It was a tough choice! I used an ecletic approach for the past 9 years so this will definitely be an adjusment. My youngest is going into F and E as well. We're really excited about it!
Thank you! Super informative video for homeschool parents looking into CC. Awesome!
So glad it helped! We loved CC!
I just said a prayer for you💛 I hope you're doing well
Thank you sister. It’s been such a struggle. I keep praying for marriage restoration but unfortunately, I’m only half the marriage. I really appreciate your prayers.
@@seasonalliving2881 I'm so sorry💔💞
This is great. I'm going to start using the Catholic PACE program soon. I don't think I've seen anyone else on here use it.
Henle's continued popularity is odd.
Isn't it? I get that things can't always be "fun" but does Latin have to be as boring and dull as humanly possible?
Amen 5 years are still learning
Sooooooo in love with every square inch of this classroom!!! First of all, I have never seen a classroom theme based on candy/Candy Land 🥰 . The cotton candy hanging from the ceiling is too cute! Everything has a place and everything in its place... It just flows! Then, to top it all off, my favorite color is PINK! 💕💕💕💕💕 It's everywhere!!! Well done!!! Kudos.... 🥰
So glad you like it! It’s my BFFs classroom. 😀
ua-cam.com/video/p1p_nLAuaZc/v-deo.html. Amazing job.
Thanks so much! I helped my BFF organize it a few years ago! ✏️
LOVE this❤️
I'm so impressed!! Super organized :)
Very nice!💖
Thank you! I hope you found it helpful. I will have my winter one out soon! ❄️
Beautiful!! So proud of the work you do!! ❤️
So proud of you 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Where are the months and days of the week visuals from?
Wonderful thank you! Exactly what I’ve been looking for! First time homeschooler schooling 5 children with 2 little ones besides and I’ve heard so many great things about morning baskets, but I want to make them specifically Catholic in any way that I can. Also, love the Rush Revere books! I have the audio.
Great ideas! where are those November themed writing journal prompts from ?
Thank you for this. I’m about to read it.
Jacqueline Ochoa you’re welcome! It’s a super helpful book!
Thank you :)
I am also dont feel good about religion. We are christian orthodox and we are not on the same page with protestants. Latin is a big no, its going to be our 3rd lg. I was really looking forward to cc. Its big in Russia .
Never heard of that co op, we're catholic as well and have such a hard time finding anything outside of our catechism classes.
I like how you’re going by the seasons. That’s pretty cool!
Thank you! It really works well for us!
I just did a video on our calm room and we also have a unicorn chair! Lol!
How funny! I just watched yours and it looks like great minds think alike! I'll bet my daughter would absolutely love yours too. :). Such great ideas...I might have to get some of those books you have.
This is so so so helpful!! Thank you!!
I am so happy about that!<3
Amazing videography!
apple brown thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed!
I love when people share flip throughs of curriculum.
Home Sweet Homeschool thank you! So glad you enjoyed. I’ve got more coming. 😉
New sub here. I have a second grader too!
Hi! Thanks for joining me! I hope you find something helpful. I love that we’re all in this together! 😊 I’m subbing right back. 😉
Happy new school year! Have you decided if your daughter will be moving on to challenge 1? Also do you supplement science?
Beautiful 🌊
Everyday Catholic thank you! We had fun! 😀
Thank you for sharing your experience with CC Challenge B. I am interested in knowing about what your daughter referred to in her portion of the video during the Science portion. She commented about a highlighting guide that helped her out a lot and I am hoping it is a resource that is available online or through CC as my daughter is starting Challenge B this year and it seems overwhelming. I truly appreciate your daughter giving her overview of her work day as this helped my kiddo to see a preview of things to come.
Thank you for the reminder to be aware of non-Protestants in our communities! Cycle 2 the Medieval Ages and Reformation is coming up (Foundations). We don’t want to discredit modern day Catholics who love Jesus! But if our Challenge age children can own their faith so comfortably to discuss and respect their peers’ denominations, that’s what we all want!
First comment here 😃! I appreciate the NLE info! I will Be homeschooling a freshman for the first time this year!
First comment here 😃Very nice 👍🏿. Thanks for sharing 🌸
PHD in Me TV thank you! We enjoyed relaxing. 💕
This is so funny I felt the same exact way about each of those curriculum pieces, and we changed them also lol.
Love this video 👍🏼 I always struggle with meal planning and this video of yours is so helpful. Thank you so much for sharing dear 👍🏼❤️
I was raised as cathlic
I would love to have that book.😇
Teresa Sanchez which book is that? We love books!
Great review! We just had our first year of CC with my daughter who is 5...so starting from the very beginning and taking it year by year. :) I’m so bummed to hear that you couldn’t tutor because you’re Catholic. I’m Protestant, but wouldn’t batt an eye if my daughter’s tutor was Catholic...or Baptist..or any other denomination. Really makes me sad for you because you seem like you’d be a great tutor and you seemed so gracious in your response to that.
Thank you! I was really heartbroken because I thought it would’ve been so fun! 🙂
Nice I need to be more organized in my homeschool
Have you joined CC Connect? They provide seminars throughout the year for the parents. Also you can go back and look at past ones. My family has not made it to challenge yet but each stage builds on another. The Latin in the younger ages is a lot of fun. There are songs to go with a lot of the rules. Hope this helps.
mom of5 yep, I mentioned that in my video, but unfortunately it’s an additional cost. And I’m sure if we had done it in younger years it definitely would have made a difference. Overall, CC was a great experience!
Thank you for this review. I think I'll pass!
Some things are understandably deal breakers! Glad I could help! 😉
