He adds solder using a soldering iron to the control board. You can see a burn mark in the board. If the component that causes the burn failed completely you would be looking at getting a replacement capacitor or resistor or eventually entire board here the solder apparently fixes it. Sometimes heating and reseating components or re applying or re beading solder can make the circuit come into contact with components loosened by heat damage.

Looks easier than it is in some cases. I saw how the deck was about to drag the ramps, but it did not because of the scalp wheels. some mowers don’t have scalp wheels so you really gotta pull up on the deck handled to make sure it’s completely up
