Everything is purchased and traded electronically, but some cards are scans of physical cards that you can have shipped home or to COMC. Some cards are digital only, often the base cards. For this Marvel Platinum release, the base cards are digital, but the rest are physical cards. The digital base cards can be "combined" to a physical rainbow color wheel parallel if you have 5 copies of the same digital base.

I scan all my cards, so I do have a pretty big collection of the NFT twins. Hro have said that the digital cards should transfer to the main Kolex app, and that scanning should still work. Hopefully that is the case when Hro shuts down in a couple of months.

The back of the card has a QR code, that you can scan with an app to redeem a digital twin with the same edition number. Unfortunately Hro is shutting down and this is the last hybrid set, and the app is going away =( For this and past Hro hybrid sets, Hro awarded bonus digital cards if you completed the set by a certain date and for placing on a ranked leaderboard. The lower numbered cards are worth more leaderboard points, especially the "premium mints" under 100.

Yeah it's ending, bittersweet for me. It's been fun but also had some missed opportunities. Maybe someday they will try another IP.

Mainly just luck. Right at the drop time I tried to make a purchase, got put in the queue, and then waited nearly 2 hours for my turn to come up. I saw that people waited 4+ hours without getting a chance to purchase before they sold out =(

@Dabberz1 never seen them they are nice looking cards. I used to sell vintage comics and action figures still on card. I used the money to get into cards. So your two videos were intriguing. Made me buy marvel metal universe got retro red hulk, a gold of firefly, two grandeos ant man and gargoyle, palladium baron zemo so I beat the odds on two blasters. i would have bought more the just had two blasters left. Not MTG I OPENED 10 PACKS AND GOT MANA SOMETHING WHERE YOU CAN USE ANY COLOR THE GUY GAVE ME 20 EACH FOR I HIT 5 IN 10-12 PACKS FOR THOSE THATS YEARS AGO

The oversize card is bigger than the dimensions of the box, so it can't even fit without bending 🤦‍♂ I haven't asked for a replacement or anything, will just let it go.

DC Annual presales are already up at online retailers! A lot of those old 90s junk wax era boxes make for a ton of fun at a low price. I didn't know about the Fleer Power Rangers the Movie cards, they look neat, especially the Fleer Ultra.

@@icollectthings That’s awesome, I’ll have to look into that! I’m coming from other areas of the hobby, so I’m not too familiar with the Marvel/DC side of collectible cards. I like the look of the sets you open, I’ll have to do some research on the different products

If you see the art on a cover let me know the issue! Hro says it's original art, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of it also gets released as comic covers.

I purchased it directly through Hro's online shop, there is a link in the description. Past sets were at retail shops and Amazon, but this one is sold exclusively direct from Hro.
