I remember seeing this TV movie in early 1985, and from what I remember, it was the beginning of the end of Gary Coleman as that cute little kid who could do no wrong. He’d grown up, and he wasn’t a cute little kid anymore. And by the time he’d found that the entertainment industry didn’t want him anymore, he discovered his parents had stolen his hard earned money from him.

What, only 20k views!? Well guess everyone's popping off from the Carson era that's too bad. I'm 66 and I'll never forget just how good Carson made America feel. And actually there's been no one since Carson to match that special magic the Tonight Show had for some 30 years! 💕 Watching this sure brought back some very good enjoyable memories. I nearly busted a gut laughing at many of these skits! 😅 All the old commercials were fun to see again too. I really needed to smile and laugh like this made me do! I thank you very much for posting this gem and hope more people will check it out! RIP Johnny Carson and good ole Ed McMahon too!😊👍🇺🇸

Kim Delaney is so beautiful. Much more she is so talented. She was fantastic on NYPD Blues, I'll never forget that great show - she was a pillar on that show, a huge part of what made it great. Gifted actress. Tough when your boss has no vision; she never realized the lead character was a much more gifted photographer until her choice, the inferior sell out, was dead and she had no one else qualified. Great movie. Uber creepy, the characters were great; for me Kim Delaney can easily carry a film as a lead. Super talented, very gifted.

There are some gems sparkling throughout this special. Love Doc and Johnny's riff on Thanksgiving and New York, New York montage. Really enjoy Diahann Carroll's delivery of that song. I'd never seen Johnny as Any Rooney. Too funny. The commercials are a treat too. NBC's Wednesday night line-up was good and miss the old AT&T commercials.

My favorite movie! Pierce Brosnan is great as Phileas Fogg, this is also the role where he plays most naturally. Beautiful landscapes, cozy and warm atmosphere in the action, wonderful actors, moral values ​​and a unique love story between Fogg and Aouda!
