That woodstove should be nice a hot in that camper!!! Subscribed
I hope so, I had to replace Hydraulics for a slide underneath and there is no insulation in the floor.
@tomhood64 i know without that little furnace in my camper it turns into an ice cube. Lol but they are also built so poorly. 🤷
I love the feel of Teflon tape!!!
:)
Turn the damn music down, dude!! Hahaha! Nice song, though!
I couldn't decide if I should drop everything and dance or just really concentrate on your stimulating commentary!! I want to drive the tractor!!!!
The music is great, when you're not talking. It's a nice addition to your videos.....really peppy music, too. You going to add the playlist to your videos?💃🎷🪗🎸🪕🎹🕺
the music options are non-copyrighted stuff. I wish I could play some Miley Cyrus for you. 😂 @@Ahronya1
@@tomhood64 Hahaha!!! That's ok. <3
Ha!! Reminds me of putting a pressure foot on a sewing machine!!...but bigger!!
When we see you zipping around in fast-forward, it looks like so much fun!!! , but I know it must get boring. So, how much real time equals these fast forwarded 10 minutes?
that video was only probably an hour and a half to dig that trench and bury it. it was a one battery video each battery holds about 2 hours or so
@tomhood64 ok...thanks.❤️
I love this fast forwarding!!
I hadn't shot this gun for years. I was trying for about 2" from the bottom... Yes, ff makes it somewhat bearable. :)
Also, it is said that wherever pines and firs have been cleared, madrones will take their place. You can see this on the mountainsides where they've done logging.
@@Ahronya1 I don't remember them when we first got the property, apparently they're also a fast-growing tree?
Yikes‼️
I love my cordless hole punches!

I like your style old timer.
Thank you, I got nothing else to do up here
With age comes the superpower of no ear pro
The road seems really narrow
Yes it is and it's going to need a lot of work
@@stradasalonanddayspa1732 yeah the roads going to be hundreds of hours along with hundreds of hours pretty much everywhere you look
Oh Tom!! I LOVE these videos!!! Hi Thomas! Hi Nicole! Hi Boys!! (Are you going to teach TJ how to use the wood splitter when you get one??) Yes!! Your rib seems to have healed quickly! How'd you get that scrape on your right temple? Ouch!! By the way, I jokingly used to say the reason I married Dan was because he could sharpen knives (with a stone) and tie knots!! Looks like you're a good knot tyer, too!!! ❤
Yeah the video cutting wood on the 11th that one stump jumped up and bit me right in the side of the head
@tomhood64 i was wondering if THAT was the attacker!! Maybe you should get in the habit of wearing safety glasses? They make some really comfy ones now.
Yes that is correct! Especially with the chainsaw that blade is pretty sharp and they actually recommend like leather chaps to where you should have gloves a hard hat glasses I'm not respecting the power of this thing @Ahronya1
Well, you sure acted calm and collected after it bonked you in the head!!
You did it!!!! Yay!!!
I like the way we can see the tank down there like it's patiently waiting to be moved.
Thats one of the things I miss!!! NON-chlorinated water!!! I loved our Oregon water!! Had a little sulphur taste, but I didnt mind. It was really good!! Lots of iron, too! We eventually got an iron filter.
I just bought an ozonator, and reordered water filters. :)
@tomhood64 Ozonator? Does that help with the iron? I'll have to google that. Btw, a decade ago, a regular water filter didn't help with the iron. We had to get a special iron filter that used potassium permanganate . The iron was so bad that anything white (clothes) quickly took on a nice brown color. Then , as ol' Murphy would have it, the year we moved, i found out that hydrochloric acid removes the iron lickety split. Walmart sells a product called Whink , rust stain remover!!!
@Ahronya1 ozone just oxidizes anything that can be oxidized. It's great for any Organics that may be deadly in the in the water as well as sulfur smell. The one I have is cheap. It's kind of like a fish tank air bubbler you just stick it in a gallon of water and let it bubble for a minute.
Are you talking about that netting? I do believe that's deer netting. Did you know there are lots of deer in Oregon? (yes, I'm kidding....I'm sure you are fully acquainted with your local deer)
Well that makes sense! So, deer like to partake on a wilder trip?
@tomhood64 Oh yeah!! Deer love that green stuff!! Deercwill eat effing EVERYTHING, even the plants designated as "deer proof"!! Well, you'd know this from your days in AK, right?
@@Ahronya1 there weren't any deer wandering around in Thomas's front yard in Alaska. That is interesting the deer would eat marijuana because the effect of that takes quite some time. I know because I've tried it and wished I didn't take as much as I did.
I'm sitting here just >>ITCHING<< to slap some vinyl eyeballs and white teeth on that bucket!!!
Love your videos, Tom!! WOW!!! You made that look so easy!! I don't think even Dan could've done it more "slickly", and that's saying a lot!! Good for you! You are one ingenious guy!! And it's so amazing how much you look like your dad....more and more!! Those genes!! <3
:) I put a lot more pressure on this job than needed.
What is that stuff on the ground? Looks like weeds
I have a tractor/disc-plow rental coming soon.
Are you going to cut up some of that wood for firewood?
Yes, a big step is getting it all in one spot and covering it.
How are you resupplying water to your home?
Unbelievable amount of trash!
Hi Uncle Al! <3
60 hard-packed yards of it so far. There is a homeless shelter at the road and many spots I missed to go.
🎉 it is 11:55 AM October 6 and I just logged onto your UA-cam post and this one in particular, looks like you’re getting into the danger zone on excavating taking that big mound of terra firma down to the level you wanted is not going to be easy trying to level out that road so you don’t have the big dangerous curve on a steep slope, careful and keep yourself connected to people if you would have an accident we need to know no matter what it looks exciting and I can see where you are loving it and I love the beautiful dear
