I am Scotland and no offense but those don't look like the 'Beautiful Scottish Highlands'. The Scottish highlands are sharp, those hills are too soft to be Scottish Highlands.

I live about twenty- thirty minutes away from this area and actually used to work around that area cleaning Air BnB's!! I loved getting up early and cleaning with the windows and deck doors open, looking at the view. I have about two thousand photos of the valley! It's such a stunning area. I'm Scottish and didn't realize until recently about Outlander's possible ties to this area. I'm definitely way more excited about where I live now.

Had a Venus fly trap for over 5 years in my youth. I had it long enough to see it flower twice and it died after catching a wasp that somehow got in the house. Trap turned black and spread to the other traps before I could cut it off. RIP snappy.

I love the OBX and I really loved this video. Ocracoke is a fascinating place and the pirate history is interesting. Manteo is cool and I always visit the Lost Colony site when I am out that way. My understanding is the colony was supposed to be established up around where Jamestown was located, but due to the Gulf currents they landed on Manteo and the captan hired to transport the colonists refused to take them any further. Thanks again for the wonderful video!

The "Dangerous mountain beast!" SO ADORABLE! 😍 We're not all that far from Highlands and have been to a few of the falls in DuPont State Forest: Hooker, Triple, and High Falls. Not too difficult of a hike at all (we're also NOT big hikers)! You've got some gorgeous footage in this video and we're glad we found it. Really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing!
