Just an Ordinary Peasant trying to fuel his vehicular obsession.
I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ and everything's broken
In this video I'll do a brief walk around of my new Jeep, and go over some of the issues (which I thought were the only issues).

Having fun in the snow with my 3rd Gen Tacoma (Tacomyo Drift)
Переглядів 9821 день тому
First snowstorm of the year! In this video I try to clear snow with a weak leaf blower, scrape some windows, then do some 4x4 drifting in the Tacoma. Feel free to skip ahead to the good part where I hoon around town in an extremely safe and law abiding manner. In this video I do a quick walk around of a filthy truck, then go for a quick drive to talk about a few of my thoughts and opinions on the 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma after 2 years of ownership.

Quick cold start and revs of my 1993 C1500 Silverado 5.7 (350TBI) With a custom exhaust. Flowmaster (15811) dual tail pipe kit, and super cheap Amazon Muffler.
Idk I loved my Tacoma for camping and getting down narrows trails to get to good hunting spots my f150 could never not to mention the gas savings when ur driving 8-12hrs to get a cabin easily save $50-$100 bucks vs the 5.0 f150 it’s not much but it adds up! I love the Tacoma because it’s basic, reliable and MANOEUVRABLE
I am retired & bought a new 2022 Off Road TRD V6 w/MT several years ago. Mainly use for camping trips pulling a small utility style camper that weighs only 2500 lbs loaded. Live in Tampa & camp in Northern GA & NC. Pulling is no problem up & down & thru the hills. Installed high quality air bags due to rear weak leaf springs at the start. Have other vehicles I use for short trips around town. Love the Tacoma and the ride is very smooth & comfortable on long trips. Plenty of power for what it is used for. Over 2 years old with only 11K miles. Plan to keep.
It's a midsize truck though if you're looking to tow heavy often, then you need to go with a full size truck. If you're wanting something with a lot of get up and go, then you probably need to go with one of the trucks now that have turbos on them but your sacrificing longevity for those types of vehicles.
Hello! What is the funnest vehicle you’ve driven and what’s the funnest car you’ve owned? ✌️😊
😎👍
Can you peel out in that thing? My front wheel drive Accord could
U look like a Tesla guy
Ur driving 2 rough and down shifting at 45-50 mph I got the same truck it’s operator error I got same shifting issue u just hold the clutch and press the gas quick and let the clutch out
I bought Toyo open country 265/75r16. 1" larger, for my 21 army green trd off-road with a manual. No rubbing. Snow rated. Dropped the mileage slightly.
I installed Borla stainless steel exhaust on my 21 tacoma. Sounds good.
I eliminated the clutch accumulator Napa coupler 10-1.0mm part # 641-5027 and 1ft brake line 10- 1.0 mm. Clutch grab is perfect.
great! but will this affect the warnanty?
Save your accumulator if you think you will have a problem. Had mine for 25k miles. No problems.
I have the same army green tacoma 4wd with 6-speed manual built 9/21. Love it! I have changed out all fluids at 30k, seat jackers, bed mat.
Hello, "Ordinary Peasant" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or ig or where?
Never happens in north jersey, salt and dirt sighh. Cant wait to move to country
OTT massively improved the automatic for me.
Meanwhile I brought a wj 4 years ago ,absolutely brilliant.
@@BrettMorris-m2q no doubt it will be soon!
Typical jeep stuff
Put a Toyota motor and transmission in it
Overall that thing is in amazin shape for the age
@@AFXGaming agreed, im excited to have it!
Living in a big city out here on the west coast of Canada, I have enjoyed doing this for over 30 years. I started with my 1992 Toyota 3.0L 4x4 extra-cab 5spd manual truck. Except we did it at 2am when the other morons were not on the road. Lots of fun until about 5-6am. Especially on weekends. It's hilly here making it more challenging. I still do it in my 2020 Tacoma. During the day I trust no one. Can't wait to get off the roads to get home from work when it's snowing. Too dangerous with lots of $hitheads and recent immigrants with real crappy driving skills.
@KayBertoss its funny that you mentioned so many bad drivers, as i just got side swiped on my way home from work. Bent a wheel, scraped up the driver rear door. Swerved into my lane because they couldn't stop. Brutal.
@@ordinarypeasant Ah that sucks! Sorry to hear. Nice truck you have. love the color and the 6M. Mines an AT white trail limo. Even when it not snowing here, still way too many Fu$ktards. Just installed a Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 in my truck about 10 months ago. Just in case. Always have to be very vigilant here and always use defensive driving 24/7.
You know your vehicle has no balls when you need to turn off traction control off and have snow to drift😂

Mid size trucks aren’t built for towing. You need a full size for that
My 2024 tacoma TRD off-road tows so much better then my 2018 tacoma it's like night and day that V-6 3.5 never had a enough torque the new 2024 tacoma has 317 foot pounds of torque at only 1700 rpms
drive the new tacoma, it is better drive. The new one is taking criticism for the 4 cylinder due to emission, but the new one drives better and has better power delivery. Every reviewer i watched said this
To damn expensive.
People expect too much out of these trucks. It's simply a reliable vehicle to get you to point A to point B. If you're looking more out of this, you will be disappointed and should get something else. I have been daily driving mine for 2 years as well, but mine is the automatic, I have zero complaints. They always get compared to full size trucks even though they're not. If you want a truck for towing, get a Cummins. Nobody buys a Tacoma to tow. People complained about the power in the 3rd gen, and then Toyota fixed the power with the 4th gen and people are still unhappy lol. There is another UA-camr who just posted his 3rd gen Tacoma with 400k miles, at the end of the day, that is what majority of Toyota buyers want. Something that will last forever.
@westcoastplinkin6559 definitely agree! I bought it purely because of it being a manual truck lol, no intention of keeping it forever. Still fun though most days
@@ordinarypeasant You can sell it and get a manual sports car. That would be much funner to drive than any truck. I have a 93 Toyota Pickup with a manual transmission but have absolutely zero desire to daily drive it. Especially with traffic here in CA. Automatic for daily driving for sure.
Right. People overthink this shit. I can tell you in Russia people are driving little 4 cylinder UAZs with the most bare bones 4 speed and no air conditioning and they get through all sorts of rough and brutal terrain/winters with them. The tacoma is like a luxury truck with insane power compared to that. People need some perspective!
My 2019 Tacoma experience was subpar. Many unscheduled maintenance visits. It was costing me money on repairs at 45K miles and was out of warranty. Last straw was a faulty A/C condenser and dealer noted timing cover and power steering rack leak. I fixed A/C but left the other leaks. Glad I dumped it. What an overhyped product. Never again.
I've watched countless videos on this truck as I've shortlisted it to buy with a manual; its nice to get a Canadian perspective. I've noticed a pattern from people who own and review this truck, they all seem to only own it because its a Toyota and it's reliable, not because its a good truck. It doesn't seem to do anything well, but does everything ok. You helped me decided that I won't buy it.
@kirk8359 I bought into the hype and was never really fully satisfied. Glad I could help!
the new 24 truck is way better, drive one and see. That engine and transmission have been used a long time
Find a clean first gen tundra. I went from a ‘19 taco to an ‘02 tundra and I couldn’t be happier. The same size but a much roomier cab and a V8. The mpg isn’t really much worse either. And it fits 4x8 sheets.
