I have been attacked twice in two weeks, and both used one-handed chokeholds. Both were quite strong, yet, oddly, I felt no pain and was able to breathe normally (thick neck may have saved me). With only basic self-defense techniques, I was able to shove both of them back, and they released and walked away. I called the cops on both, but, a store security guard saw the first one (a belligerent beggar) and had already called the cops, who arrived moments later and arrested the male at the guard's and my statements (no idea what happened to the perp afterward). The second was an aggressive driver who, radically, cut off two people (one of them, me), moments apart, on a two-lane road. I got out of my car, took a photo of his rear license plate, at which point, he got out of his car and attacked me. Multiple witnesses saw what transpired, but, not a single one came to my cries for help/police/fire, not even honked their horn, nor would any come forward as witnesses, afterward, including a USPS driver. Nice. I called the cops immediately after he took off (he ran a red light doing so; not sure if the camera light was working, as I saw no flash on the cloudy day), and, at first, the cops said it was a he-said/he-said-otherwise situation and there was nothing they could do about it, except arrest both of us, but, fortunately, the perp (caught at his nearby home) had no insurance (surprise-surprise), so, he was cited for that (in the UK, they would have seized his car, outright), and, now, he's on the cops' permanent "radar." All the jerk had to do was obey the law, and not act as if he owned the road, and he would have been "fine." In both instances, I was able to defend myself, but, two in two weeks for no reason other than stupidity on the perps' part? Unreal. Regardless, these slo-mo examples may work great in the dojo, but, in real-world situations, you better have multiple plans to protect/defend yourself, because most, otherwise, decent, people, are cowards, who don't want to get involved, and you won't stand a chance against someone heavier/stronger than you. I've been lucky . . . so far.
this was stupid -- instead of fucking around with what she told you not to do why didn't you just do what she said -- show us if it actually works -- we already know the things she said don't do don't work
You are not pivoting like that if someone choke you correctly fully locked in. If you want a real defense what you do is you take your left hand you grab the right elbow can you take your right hand and you turn and try to get it to their left hip. This will break their grip and you will be able to get under hooks and potentially a throw you're welcome and I can give you a black belt if you need one because you definitely don't have one
It looks like someone has to be tought how testicels are build and where are they in that very moment when she is trying to punch it. Another content which does more bad then good.
Thanks for this video. These were typical Krav Maga moves when I took classes many years ago. A couple of comments; first, she didn't look behind herself to clear as you were saying she should have done. Second, I'm a smaller guy, 160lbs, and there are many bigger men that the pluck would not be the way to go. However, the sweeping motion, raising your arm straight up, shoulder close to your ear, then sweep your arm across both of the attacker's arms, pinning them at your side, and allowing you to elbow them, worked every time for me no matter how big the person attacking was.
I kinda wish instead of mocking the lead up to her move you would instead perform or mock the actual move she was trying to demonstrate. As someone who knows little to nothing about martial arts, it would have been nice to see you guys either do or debunk it.
Check out our Channel! We have lots of videos that we are releasing that will show the breakdowns of moves like this effectively to learn. Sometimes we see silly things that will never work and we have some fun with it.
Hahaha, this is absolutely ridiculous! Is this real? Noone with a gun holds it that close. It's no sword or knive. The invention of firearms made it possible to kill someone from a distance.
Throat strike works. Turning the shoulders and reaching out for the eye gouge works. Dropping the elbow to break the grip works. Leveraging the hands of a bigger, stronger opponent may not work. Your second scenario defense works while standing still as well, and is the better of the two options presented. Just my 2 cents after 27 years of training. Stay safe y'all.
What happens if she isn't strong enough to pull the attackers hands off her throat?

I fell asleep while watching this video. Instructions unclear.

These people don't live in the real world
That is not gonna work💀
Sound good on paper, now let's try it in Action....oh wait she's dead

I'm dying here Master Scott 😂
Looks about like reality to me!
Guess he is teaching how to sleep effectively
Покажи правильный выход
If the attacker holds you in the proper way, there is no way out. youre ded
Weeeell if the attacker is man go for balls
If you do that you would make the grown man 100x angrier and he would kill you
This is BS.
Stupid
Please don't try this in real life.... it won't work
At fight helps but a grown man would destroy these defenses
Krav bs
😅
That would not work
When i bear hug somebody that shits going fir a slam
😅😂
🤣
LMAO

Well ggs she is dead
In reality this woman would be wheeled into the morgue.
Nice! I could have used those skills a few decades ago😂
