i kinda love these, but also kinda resent them. No offense, but the more i learned about the Addams Family as a franchise the more obvious it became that these pull from the 90s movies and nothing else. That wednesday is great in her own way (it was a great performance too) but they completely misinterpreted her character for that movie, and it sucks that literally all things addams after that take inspiration from that and nothing else. Sorry for the rant, keep up the good work.

While The Long Halloween is really great, I personally loved the Knightfall trilogy and the Cataclysm/No Man's Land arcs. That whole era of the comics absolutely hit the right marks for me, so I like them a lot more than any other arcs in the comics. They may not have been absolutely perfect, nor are they everyone's cup of tea, but they are to me, and I wish more live action movies and shows took inspiration from the pacing and style of these stories.

They might live in New York or around that area, but they are not all from it. Like you can read a few different comics and see characters say where they're from. It’d be interesting to see some of these updated now that Adam made it to the MCU.

One comic I love is about how there's canonically a low-level criminal who takes advantage of all the frequent alien invasions and world-ending threats to try and rob places since most superheroes wouldn't care if one guy stole something, but not Spider-Man. It's hilarious but inspiring that Spiderman has constantly met this guy pulling off the same schtick every time there's an attack, and he gets to know him while doing it. That's what makes Spiderman one of the best heroes, he never forgets about the little guy, not even the little crooks out there
