Rampart Range, Sedalia CO - Bixtrix Monte Capro Ultras E-Bike Ride - Short Film
My buddy and I went out on another fun ride at Rampart Range in Sedalia Colorado. We took our Monte Capro Ultra 1000 watt carbon e-bikes out to the OHV trails 627 - 787A for about a 10 mile ride and had a blast! Then we followed up the ride with tacos and drinks and live music at Wide Open Saloon on our way home for a perfect end to the day on their rooftop open-air balcony.

In this video I will go over the features and pros and cons of the Osaki OP-4D Master massage chair. I purchased it from osakiusa.com by calling into their sales department which I highly recommend. Towards the end of the video I cover how to disassemble one of the chair sides to fit it through narrower doorways under 32" in...

Thank you for this review! The product page on Osaki's site for this model and the Xrest 4D+ show an image of an SL track going all the way through the glutes and hamstrings (and it actually states "The SL-Track reaches all the way from your neck and shoulders to your hamstrings"). You mentioned it stops at the upper glutes... is this due to your height or do you think they overpromised on that description? I plan to try it in person soon. Thank you!!
@@RNNYC204 they over promised on that description and I called that out to my sales guy who then went and tested their floor model and confirmed it does not go as low as their website states so he sent me a free Sonic vibration foot massager to make up for it. Lol
I actually got a quick response from their support - they said it's purely due to height. The rep said she was 5'1" and it stopped at her mid-hamstrings. Anyone around 6' will probably have a similar experience to you where it stops at your upper glutes.
@@jamisonroberts83 LOL...if I end up buying, I'll flag this too 😉
@@RNNYC204 I don't see how it has to do with heights it's more of the position of where the rollers are. Your butt sits in a particular spot in the chair so I don't see how being shorter would make the rollers go down any further. The height statement would only make sense for the upper back rollers. I'm about 5'5 to 5'6 in height. My wife is probably about 5 ft and same thing and experience for her, it does not go very low it only gets like halfway down your butt if that. Don't let the sales people or support people tell you otherwise. If you can try it in person highly recommend it but I think you will find exactly what I stated in my review
@@jamisonroberts83 I was in between this and the Xrest which is deeply discounted on their site ($10k down from 15k). Their support said this model (op-4d) is the same exact chair, build quality and everything just without the hood on top lol. Is that what you were told too? And you were able to get it for $7k according to another comment, do you recall what they listed as a public price at that time? Right now it's listed for $8,999
Sweet video! Looks like an awesome ride. What bike rack and phone holder are you using?
Great review - are you able to manually isolate on a single spot and control exactly where the rollers go. That feature is important to me and some chairs are unable to allow someone to just target one specific area with a specific amount of pressure. Thanks!
@@lindseymercer9239 Yes when you do the manual mode massage you can have it pinpoint an exact spot or you can even tell it's to focus on a general area. Such a fantastic chair! Just got done with the massage actually after a 42 mi bike ride lol
Nice work man! You should write this up. Potentially make another video on the how-to. Either way, this is super cool.
I like your review it’s very helpful, what color of your chair? Thank you 😊
It's the taupe colored chair
Thank you
Ok :( Thanks for quick reply! Keep up the good work.
Hi Jamison, thanks for the cool reviews! Just a quick question: I’m 6’2” tall…do you think I would fit?!:) Cheers Scott
It would be a bit small for you I think
Love the chair, I’m 6’3 do you think I’m too tall to use it?
Yes you would absolutely fit. There is a minimum height of 4'9 and a maximum height of 6 ft 4 in and a maximum weight capacity of 260 lb so as long as you're 260 lb or less than the chair would work for you. Make sure you call the sales line at Osaki USA to get the chair for $7,000 which is about half off retail
The top shoulder airbags look so cool. How close would you say it is to a human shoulder massage?
@@brianjasnica3530 Is very close to a human massage. Feels like a person wearing mittens is giving you a shoulder massage. It's amazing
@@jamisonroberts83 what other chairs have you tried before you got this one?
@@jamisonroberts83 I hope there are more chairs coming out that have separate mechanisms to focus on either the neck or shoulders because the track rollers can only do so much. I ended up getting the Luraco I9 and I think the neck and shoulder massage is just meh. What other chairs did you try before you purchased the OP-4D?
/ at.
Nice review, are you still enjoying it and have you had any issues? Thanks!
Yeah I'm definitely still enjoying the bike and riding it. No issues with it so far. Seems like it'll last many years
Thanks for the quick reply, cheers!@@jamisonroberts83
Thanks for the video I have superior gas fireplace but the opening at the bottom is 2.5” and it’s small but inside is 3.5” . Does it need a bigger opening to fit the blower?
So you just shove the blower in place. Was the original actually attached?
Yep you just push the blower fan to the back of the unit. There was no blower fan that came with this originally. It does not need to be screwed in
@@jamisonroberts83 I am going to look at replacing mine. Thanks
Wow, I never saw one like that. It's Awesome.
Which size of the blower did you pick? Still happy with it? :)
I went with the 12-in blower and yes very happy with it. Been working for years now without issue
Once upon a time, 5k was nothing! But there was no biketrix.. only Optibike & hpc:/ hpc had a nice one for 3.. but hesitation robbed me!😥
How are you liking your bike after a few months? Is getting it serviced a big deal?
I've had the bike a couple years now and I still absolutely love it. While my local bike shops will service the non-electrical parts of the bike, they typically have a 2-week to one month wait list so I started doing all the adjustments and repairs myself. It's been easy to work on and over 500 mi of trails on it now
@@jamisonroberts83, awesome!!
SUCH A SWEET BEAR!
GORGEOUS paint job and I am a fine artist! LOVELY! Onlny Three thumbs up? This should have amillion thumbs up! Kim
That was quite the trail..
Do you have the "offroad" unlocked model? Or street legal model? Whats rhe top speed of the offroad model? Cool vid man makes me want one.
Off-road and 32 mph+
Great vids on the Monte Capro. Been looking at this bike for a while, but was eyeing up the boost version. Do you know anyone who got that one? Still torn between the 2.
We just bought two...our first e-bikes. We live in a small community surrounded by gravel/dirt roads and find these bikes, with the wide tires to be totally compatible. Had them for only a few days but so far, very happy with them. As for the 20 mph (32 kmh) max speed, that's plenty for us. Also happy they can both fit in the back of our SUV so we can explore trails in other parts of our province.
Thanks for providing your feedback on your experience with them. I'm still enjoying the bike and my wife loves it as well compared to her normal size e-bike which she finds to be too heavy and not comfortable to ride
now that is a sweet looking fattie
Looked like fun...
That's a great looking bike 😊
Hello I'm gonna buy this could you please tell me how long does it go with one battery charge do you recommend this bike or other brand thank you.
30 miles range, maybe a bit more depending on rider weight, terrain, riding style, pass level
30 miles range, maybe a bit more depending on rider weight, terrain, riding style, pas level. Yes I like the bike
I love the bike you can catwalk it jump it lots of fun
Halo brother I'm from Phillipines I'm a stroke for 3 years hope soon Ill drive your nice e bike for my fast recovery for my daily exercise Godbless sir
Sweet bike...any chance you can add a dropper post to it?
Yeah you can definitely add a dropper post to it
Why are you the only one with a review of this thing? It's such a sweet bike
I'm not sure but I felt compelled to make one.
@@jamisonroberts83 I love it because it's the most unique frame. I wish they sold only the frame so I could build one out. Beautiful bike you have
@@ElevatedVehicles You could always email or call biktrix support to see if they would sell you just the frame.
@@jamisonroberts83 great point. I'll try that. Cheers
Did you buy it online?
Yeah from biktrix.com
Great review. Thanks!
Thanks for posting these videos. Your setup is exactly what I’m looking at as well. It’s hard to find good reviews online for this product. Quite an impressive machine and your videos are great at showing the capabilities.
Looks like Eunorau Specter S.. Same thing
How is the quality ? how is it holding up ?
It's fantastic! It's been rock solid so far and no issues other than standard bike maintenance. The carbon fiber frame is holding up well even after a few wipeouts on rocks
hey great work how can i get started with something like this.
You would need an Arduino, a vibration sensor from Amazon, a data logger shield for Arduino, a micro SD card, RGB led indicator for failed/successfu SD card writes, and a ic2 4x20 LCD screen.
Send me your email and I can email you the code
I'd also be very interested, as I'm sure many others would be. Is there any chance you'd be willing to share it on GitHub or GitLab?
Does the Monte come with a dropper post?
No but you can replace the seat post with one. Others have put on a dropper seat post on them
was ist der Preis und wieviel kostet der Versand? Danke. Gruss Dieter from Germany
The motor is M620. I took a video for fat carbon Ebikes with M620, too. And there is a M600 version, which makes the Ebike 2kg lighter. M620 version is 31kg, and M600 version is 29kg. With tubeless tires and some other upgrades, it could be less than 25kg!!
ua-cam.com/video/ixiwpeeBF_I/v-deo.html
Price?
About $7,000 with upgrades and extra battery
The problem I see with the way you wired this is that there's no way to defeat or override what the smart switch does. Rather than wiring it in parallel with the manual switches it should be connected in series with one of the switches (preferably the wall switch if you have one). In that way you can simply turn off the wall switch to keep Alexa or Google from accidentally opening the gas valve when you don't want it to. Always think about fire safety when working on any electrical control project (especially when it happens to be a fireplace LOL)...
I can see why you like the bike so much. Great choice.
Quanto é o valor
Around $7000 USD or less depending on upgrades
so the bushes look individually lit because your using one strip and killing the lights in between ?
Using 1 strip but the light strips are divided into 2 sections so 1 section on each bush
Thanks for the video! I found the SWI wires under my fireplace, which appear to be the same gauge as your wiring in your video but they are connected (with a wire-nut) to much thicker wiring. Is this a concern? I confirmed they are the correct wires as with one of them unplugged the wall switch no longer works, but I don't see yours connecting to thicker wiring, unless it's off camera. Thanks for any help you can offer!
That's not a concern, you can just use the existing wire nuts instead of the metal clips
Are these the Pro Series or the residential? If residential where are your controllers?
Residential. Controllers are attached to the beginning of each string, they are weather resistant
nice. so around 2 grand. for this setup.
Yeah a bit less than 2k but depends on when you get the lights. Full price probably $2k
Great job. So many over decorate and this looks great and yet has simplicity.
Hi there, thank you for the great review. How long did it take to get the bike from placing the order? I assume delivered you USA
I ordered on a Friday evening and chose to upgrade the shocks and the rear hub which required some work on their side. I received the bike exactly one week from ordering so I got it the next Friday. Once it shipped it only took 3 days to get to the US Colorado. I've heard some people and other states it can take a bit longer for shipping
