I really love this Fibre Paste, I usually lay it on my substrate with a palette knife, then let it dry and paint over it - in the same way you did - with a dry brush dipped in acrylic paint or a wet brush in watercolours. Sometimes I use my wonderful Derwent Inktense Watercolour Pencils which you can use to create very deep or bright effects with or very light colours, depending on how you use them. I also love the Glass Paste that's made by Tri Art. It's not actually made of glass, but it gives the effect of tiny glass beads in a transparent paste, and I love mixing it with acrylic paint and spreading it over whatever surface I'm using, but you can mix it with any type of paint.
