    Like this interview with a radically authentic person. Safety is important to you, but it seems to me you have always stretched yourself beyond ‘safe’ and continue to do so. I think you produce well-thought out, interesting paintings; your techniques are impressive.

    Immediately gives me ideas of how I can use these techniques along with modeling paste in my next landscape painting with prairie grass...fall grass brownish color with lots of lumps & hollows. Enjoyed the lessons.

    Well done Lori. You’re ahead of me on the solo art journey and also ahead on the confidence front, but I’m getting there too. Onwards and upwards ladies ;) 🎉 x

    I really love this Fibre Paste, I usually lay it on my substrate with a palette knife, then let it dry and paint over it - in the same way you did - with a dry brush dipped in acrylic paint or a wet brush in watercolours. Sometimes I use my wonderful Derwent Inktense Watercolour Pencils which you can use to create very deep or bright effects with or very light colours, depending on how you use them. I also love the Glass Paste that's made by Tri Art. It's not actually made of glass, but it gives the effect of tiny glass beads in a transparent paste, and I love mixing it with acrylic paint and spreading it over whatever surface I'm using, but you can mix it with any type of paint. Thank you for sharing this video tutorial, I hope more people start using these great pastes by Tri Art. Love from Amanda in Australia ❤❤❤

      @@triartmfg Thanks for the quick reply. I do appreciate it. And I do hope you will make “how-to” and the benefits of your products. As I commented on another of your videos, I’d like to support a Canadian company that makes art supplies. Thanks again.

      @@triartmfg :) Actually, this one! The Copper Cinder. I’m unclear as to how it appears/works can be used, mixed, etc. (I wondered if it might be something like those paints that have different components to create a patina look. And if not, then perhaps something else?) Thank you again.

    Bro that was way to much white 💀💀💀💀

    • @triartmfg
      @triartmfg 2 роки тому

      I completely understand how you would get that impression. The white is actually a crackling medium so it is a little different from a normal acrylic paint! You can play with how you would like the finished product to look with how much Crackle Ground is applied. :) A thicker application of the medium will create larger cracks, where a thinner application will create small, intricate cracks!
