I think everyone here carries all their auto pistols without one in the chamber just to be safe because they don't trust their internal safety. After watching a lot of videos on the NAA revolvers, I chose the .22 LR with a folding holster grip. This grip improved accuracy a lot. It also makes the revolver even smaller and easier to hide in a pocket. I'm using Federal Punch Ammo as it shows the best ballistics with the NAA short barrel. I carry my NAA revolver more than any other firearm because it is so easy to hide in small pockets.

It is not a 25 yard gun , 7 yards at best but that is what it was designed for .

It would be recommended to remove the cylinder from the right side of the frame to avoid damaging the pawl hand that rotates the cylinder, while the revolvef is on half cock. Reinstall the cylinder back in from the same side as it was removed. They are well-made revolvers and tough little buggers. They are good little get off me back up pieces.

With all due respect young man, but that Pietta can safely be carried with six all day long because you just put the hammer back onto the first click which is the safety position for these revolvers. if you don't believe me! well then load it with five live rounds and load the empty chamber with a shell casing with a good primer only without a bullet or gunpowder in it and carry it for a month or just keep it that way while you handle it. I will bet that the hammer will never go down on its own onto that primed empty shell casing. colts were always made to be carried with six and in the safety notch of the first click. it's in the History Books on Colt firearms. this is how I have always carried my Pietta and never had a negligent discharge. trust your weapons after you know how they function and then you trust yourself with the knowledge of how they work. Not bad at all I had to use rear bag for support, otherwise my rifle moved too much. Maybe it would help you too. I'm not that familiar with the Axis but my old Savage 10 tactical shot terribly in the factory stock. It improved when i upgraded to aluminum chassis. So that or maybe glass bedding the stock could help. And of course, ammo - even the best rifle can shoot bed with wrong ammo :)
