Enchanting contemporary music from some other wondrous dimension! The counterpoint of strings is so arresting, as is the voice soaring above. I have never heard harmony introduced so beautifully, tastefully,and with integrity into raga-inspired music.

I know this is an old comment, just incase someone stumbles across this: try having a few reference notes like C and both Gs. From there you can situate yourself until you become comfortable with it

Where can I find the scores?
Riley Furey Imslp, i found the bass part for solo tuning and the regular part for cello
You can also buy them online. There's an arrangement that includes both the Bass and Piano part. It's transcribed by Stuart Sankey and is the exact same transcription that Paul Erhard is playing.
As played by Paul Erhard this piece suits the double bass perfectly. The bass doesn't give out the grand passion of the cello sound. It seems to weep raw, veiled tears.

윤성문 Most of players use solo tuning when reading in D minor, so you should use the piano part in Imslp

I play German bow and I can't see how people can play French. I've tried it but I failed horribly. I would like to learn someday just to have the skill but I'm currently trying to get good with German haha
