This movie broke my heart into bits. That Last Dance scene, my oh my.... 😫 The dynamic between father/daughter is absolutely impeccable; what majestic performances. And I can't think of another movie where the music fits the scenes so perfectly. I'd ask anyone to give this movie a chance. It's been on my mnd ever since watching many weeks ago. Thank you for your truthful review and I have subscribed. Keep up the good work!

I kind of was on the edge of my seat throughout the film. There was this sense of dread the entire time that kept me absolutely glued to the screen. It took close to 1/2 an hour to compose myself afterwards. I think this film was a masterpiece, and it might make my list of my 4 favorite films on Letterbox'd.

You're full of energy, it's rare to see this in reviews, you should continue. And Aftersun is now one of my favorite films. The fact that it's presented from the point of view of older Sophie reflecting on this trip is really what makes this movie explore so much more things, and made us all feel so sad by the end.
