2:13 I'm losing my mind or I have the strongest screws of all time on my toilet seat. These badboys are not *budging* no matter how much I crank on them. EDIT: In case anyone else runs into this (since all the videos and websites I searched didn't mention my scenario) - I didn't have to use a screwdriver at all, for mine you simply hand-spin the plastic part on the bottom until they come off, then you lift the toilet seat off with the screws still intact (I had to pull pretty hard).
yo, idk if this is an EU apartment thing or what but my toilet does not have that flexible hose. it is just a hardline metal pipe all the way to the toilet connection point, it honestly looks like they installed the water line after the toilet was already in or something. Will this install not be possible since (I assume, no plumbing experience) bending those metal pipes probably isn't safe or recommended? I'm an absolute cheapskate, main reason I want a bidet is to stop spending money on TP so having a plumber come do it, especially since they're so expensive here, isn't really feasible. slight update: found some videos on replacing rigid pipes with hoses but they all seem to have an angle valve where the rigid pipe goes into the wall/ceiling? mine just goes straight up through the bathroom celing with no valve?? lmao
@@xtremhillblly2269 I guess I got what I paid for, just 450$/mo middle of the city, 5 minute walk to my university 🥴 Had to come with some compromises I guess.
when i paused to take the lid off i was like “hey this is a good time to clean more thoroughly” so i did. only to unpause the video a few minutes later and get called a piss baby.
Man, mine leaked in the same spot and there was nothing I could do to get it to stop. Used plumber's tape, went at it with the wrench, Just would not stop leaking. Any tips on what else to try?
I believe that their should be an O-Ring at that spot check that its intact and is undamaged, though that plumbers tape should have fixed that issue. make sure that your plumbers tape was wrapped the correct direction, it should wrap on the same direction that you turn the nut so that the tape doesn't get pushed off.
@@xtremhillblly2269 yeah o-ring in place and in tact! It didn't even occur to me the plumbers tape needs to wrap the same direction as the nut would rotate. I'll give that a try next. Thanks man!
👌🏻💦💦💦💦👍🏻,
My ADHD would not let me watch a 15min video with B-Roll and elevator music. We need more videos like this. Straight to it and no BS
Thank you Bily Hill
thank you sir

That's sounds rough dude, hate getting to a house with no angel stops. Gotta shut the whole place down.😂

Did this and water sprayed everywhere from my original connector. What can I do about that?
My cone washer was stuck in the toilet side and didn't come out with the connector. That was the issue.
@@fudgepops9575 This comment saved my life. Thank you.
Why tf is my flat so retarded and has all that stuff build into the wall…
LOVELY AND INFORMATIVE, 10/10 WOULD VISIT AGAIN

Can you link to the bidet you bought?
It was sold by a UA-cam streamer bidet.gg/product/swipe
@@xtremhillblly2269 thanks bro.
made me buy the bidet
How do you plug in the electronics?
There are none, its just a simple valve that works on water pressure
Ayy thanks for the vid my dude, made my install super seamless
