Its become just another dogshit sports game. Pack buying. "Ultimate team" building. Bad game modes. Taking away wrestlers and reselling them to you year after year. In basically the same game every year. It's ridiculous. Can't wait for Ultra Pro Wrestling. Let these sheep keep buying this MODERN GARBAGE.

As far as I'm concerned. As long as the base game has for example CM Punk, I could not care less about grinding persona cards to get CM Punk '11. I literally don't care. I have modern Punk, I'm good. I never touched MyFaction in 2K24 at all. They had Manbun Roman Reigns, or Tracksuit Roman Reigns or something. Fuck him. Base game came with Roman Reigns, that was all I needed. As long as the MyFaction stuff don't impede on the base game offerings, more power to 2K, go make that money. It just won't be from me. If we get 2K25 and they lets say half of the creation parts is put behind a paywall or things like that. Then yeah I probably won't get 2K26 at that point. But as persona cards and things are right now in 24, I'm perfectly happy to just ignore them.

Don't know much about the game, as I haven't followed the news about it this year, but what I do know, is that I very likely won't buy it this year, no matter what. Because, I've noticed a pattern of the game being bad every 5 years. Just look at the game released 5 years earlier than 2K25. It was 2K20, we can safely say it's the worst game in the SD franchise ( the 4th time in the SD franchise I actually went back to the game released the year before ) . 5 years before that, it was 2K15, who was a very empty game, very bare bone, a huge step back compared to 2K14 and the other previous games ( the 3rd time I went bsck to the game released the year before ) . 5 years before that, was SvR 2010, who was also a bad game ( the 2nd time I went back to the game that released the year before ) . 5 years before that, was the first SvR game ( who we could call " SvR 2005 " I guess ) , which was a big disappointment compared to the 2 games that came before it ( HCTP and SYM ) causing me to be the 1st time in the SD franchise I went back on the game that released the year before. So, I mean... 2K25... Yep, not feeling it. Not one bit. The SD franchise have that " Every 5 years they release a bad game " curse happening, so, I'll probably skip this year's game, no matter what they announce about 2K25. 'Cause I have a very bad feeling about this game, due to this curse. Just like I ain't feeling 2K30, 2K35, ect. Oh, welp... Looks like my feelings were right. Didn't take long to have confirmation of the curse happening once more. I had wrote everything written above before watching the video, and decided to watch the video before posting, and, that was a good decision, because I've learned a very bad news about the game with your video. MyGM going Online. Welp, that means GM Mode now relies on servers which means we won't be able to play this mode anymore once the servers gets shut down ( which always happen only 1 year after the release of the game ) . So, RIP GM Mode... It's no longer a game mode, but an Online feature now. For those who like GM Mode ( like I do ) better play the hell out of it during the year if you plan on ever playing it, because, you'll never be able to play GM Mode of this game ever again once 2K shuts down the servers of the game 1 year later, now. No retro gaming on it. As someone who is highly allergic to Online things ( never touched MyFaction, never will, just like I'll never touch the Island thing if I get the game at some point ) , my hype about the game was low before hearing about this, because of the curse happening every 5 years, and now it's even lower. Personally, I don't see the point in playing GM Mode anymore, as I hate wasting my time. Spending time progressing in a mode, unlocking stuff and all, when knowing from the start we'll loose our progress and everything we've done in that mode once the servers shuts down, makes it nothing more than a giant waste of time. So, yeah, they basically removed GM Mode. Confirms that the curse causing the SD franchise game to be a 💩 game every 5 years, is still true, still happening. Maybe one day they'll finally defeat the curse, but, it won't happen with 2K25 , we now know that for a fact.

Some of the new features are not new one all old one example chain wrestling from 2k19 ....intergender match from old wwe games ....

All UA-cam reviewer pls say to be honest wwe 2k25 graphics is same like 2k24 not more improve .....

They have mentioned that CAW mode is updated and more added but not said what or if any improvements. For improvements i want is the old Layering item system from the old thq games where you could move layers around of items to move them from the back to the front. Also uni-sex items so that the males don't get all the items and the female roster caws get hardly anything to make them. There is a chance this may happen because it could be they have been testing it already in WWE 2k24 since recently all the persona of male wrestlers released we have been getting female versions of their items to use. With intergender wrestling now it would be great that this means all the female models in the game for 2k25 are now fully compatiable with the male clothing system and visa versa for female items for males. A better randomizer would be nice also where you can lock things you like and colours you like. And the final and big one they need to fix which broke in 2k24 is the fully import system of other caw parts and logo's..only the parts system works now not the full import(well not working on ps5). Oh also forgot to just let us wear anything in the ring i hate the limitations on entrance items or layers when not everyone is going online or uploading to community creations so just let us make what we want. They can't say it's not possible we have seen it done with the old entrance gear manager to superstar glitch so it works yet last year they blocked it and only modders could then do it.

I’m holding off excitement as well, because these new or returning features and additions could render the game completely unplayable.

There was a time when i used to getbthe game day one. That has changed for the past years somehow starting from 2020. So ill hold up on getting the game till i find it really exciting.

I'm sorry to say WWE smackdown vs raw gameplay is better than WWE 2k24 gameplay I wish WWE 2k would mix things up make a Arcady style game something different I remember when WWE all stars come out so much fun pick up and play

The Island of Relevancy is going to be sick, for the first couple of hours. If it is what I think it is, it's going to be some weird MyFaction hybrid free roam mode, full of microtransactions.

They've lost me - I wouldn't buy another game until there's a complete overhaul and a commitment to emphasise the online multiplayer aspect (the game gets boring as fk quickly if online matches won't work). I've bought the 'icon' versions 3 years in a row and felt dumb everytime. The wrost unstable online servers I've ever seen in modern gaming and they don't even care to fix them, yet want to increase prices every year? $130 for the top deluxe version this year? The most expensive game on the market and disproportinately overpriced - I feel TKO/WWE are laughing at people at this point e.g "these marks will still buy it anyway haha"

Ngl i feel like people don't actually "hate" persona cards i just feel like people hate the way they go about it if they were in live events in myf and they remove the requirement of a specific card you need to play that said live event or have them as a proving grounds chapter people will say differently about persona cards whuch. I say again i don't feel like people actually hate them just how 2k goes about it

listen I understand the frustration but it may be the best wwe2k in years, it better be at least especially with them adding back features the fans have wanted back and new features and the bloodline showcase being the best showcase in years, and as well as the island, a lot of focus was on the island you can tell, they definitely worked on it for a couple years or so, no way they just made it in 8 months ( that’s how long they develop the games before the yearly release, I mean I’d say if ur skeptical just wait for reviews on early access and then on official release as well, I’m kinda skeptical but definitely interested and intrigued, it might actually be worth pre ordering this year honestly but we’ll see how the cookie crumbles this year

theres nothing to bite on. they do the same shtty rolls outs. oooh look at the cover, oooohh look we have wrestlers in the game with update attire, oooohh we gave ratings that can be edited in game but we'll make a big deal out of it to be more like a real sports game, ooohhhh look at the cut scenes and screenshots. wheres the game play, whats REALLY new (not just dumb gimmick sht that couldve been dlc for 2k24), and what has ACTUALLY been fixed? the island just sounds like another version of the million dollar challenge from 2k19.

I'm on the fence on this years game...2K really think that us gamers are dumb because all of what we wanted over the many years now all of a sudden we get them .. Knowing full well there are orher companies making their own wrestling games as well... I had said it once before I'm not putting down another 130 bucks for a buggy mess or find out that the custom suite isnt what I want to dive into.. 2K talked about everything but CAW and I'm just going to stick to 2K24 for now ..
