SWR Ride Day at Luddenham Raceway - 1990 CBR250RR MC22 (22/06/2024)
Ride Day at Luddenham Raceway with Sydney West Rider. Had been raining the whole night and morning. Video recorded in the second session of day with the track drying up but still damp at places.

Woodford Oaks Trail Ride

It's been a while since I've ridden my mountain bike after an accident where I dislocated my shoulder. I found it hard to overcome my fear when I set out to my local single track for the first time after the injury. On the other hand, this firetrail seems to be a perfect place for me to gain my confidence back on the bike and also a really nice workout climbing from Glenbrook.

Managed to record it in 4K but forgot to record the sound seperately. I'm feeling much more confident on the bike than my last video and the road toward Burragorang lookout just seemed much more enjoyable to drive thru on a bike.

Just recently got my motorcycle learner licence and got somewhat an "acceptable" setup to record this ride around the sea cliff bridge south of Sydney. Gear change and clutch control are still pretty rubbish... Hopefully they will improve along with the mileage.
Meine modifizierte Cb 650R, ist nicht dabei . Dabei hat sie ja auch 2 modifizierte Satteltaschen 😊!

How much ?
Man... i never really liked tourer bikes, I've always been into super sport... but that CB650R looks absolutely amazing. When browsing second hand bikes, i would easily choose the 2019 CB650R instead of 2014 CBR600RR although the super sport costs less... ... and not because of the years, although it's better to have a newer bike... the CB650R just looks ROUGH AS HECK!!!! ... the gear on the side, not covered with plastic is a huge selling point in my opinion... and the lack of headlight mask... those turn me off SO FREAKING MUCH.

most of the pipes in here look pretty custom to me. can probably find a local welder to make it happen. will def need a engine tune after tho

Where can I find the single arm set for cb650?
short: you will have to find it, it's not gonna be a retro fit long: they swapped the swing arm with an used one from a VFR750F. tho it's possible but possiblly requires some chassis, suspension modification based on what i know about it so far. it transforms the bike eh? as much as i'd love it, it just seems best left to the professionals. let me know if you manage it some how.

How to get that sharp tail end (shown in the first one)
it's probably an aftermarket/custom seat cowl that extends beyond the subframe tail
that tail does look nice. the ones out on the internet look pretty generic and look like coming outta the same mold.

Really love the video, mate! Used to live in both Wollongong and Sydney and had done a lot of travel in between. Now back to work in China and riding a 2020 cb650r with Akrapovic exhaust. Really miss the view and wish to ride in NSW again. Just keep ride mate, keep polishing your skills, and be safe! And try cb1000r one day. It's another experience!
This is awesome, man! I've been thinking about replacing the exhaust with an akrapovic as well. did you have to do a tune after changing the exhaust?
Fairweather Squidding The bike is limited to 75 HP in China. Need to change the ECU to get back to 95 HP. No other tuning needed I reckon.
