They must be joking. I'm sorry you have to put up with these replies. However, Your Violin is more equally resonate on all notes played when in 415hz.... unless something in the room changed. 440 is too sharp for acoustic instruments. Some may be different.

it was soo weird for me to join an orchestra because i was too used to 415 hz a😭

If u change the frequency of the note then it's not considered the same note anymore correct

When dealing with Bach 415 is always the ideal as it is baroque tuning

415 Hz sounds best to me but probably cause at 432 Hz it's not tuned exactly well. I believe originally A = 432 Hz. The 440 Hz got popular only with digital music

I believe A 415 is basically playing a half step down from 440. It is very close.
