Thanks for the kind words! I’ve spent years working in Logic, and I can confidently say you can absolutely achieve similar results using Logic's stock plugins. For a fat, punchy sound, Logic’s Compressor (with the Vintage VCA mode) is a great substitute for Supercharger, and you can use the Fat EQ or Channel EQ for shaping the tone. For filters, the AutoFilter in Logic is super versatile-it’s great for adding movement and warmth to your sound. Pair it with the Overdrive or Distortion plugins for extra grit, and you’ll be surprised how close you can get to the Machine setup. While this specific method hasn't been tested directly on Ableton Live 9, the core MIDI functionality used for setup is generally consistent across Ableton versions. I don't foresee any major differences that would prevent it from working.

@ I have been trying to figure this out for so long that it has really blocked my ability to move forward and learn more as I'm so new to this. I downloaded the script from native for ableton 9, but in all the videos that I've seen, none of them show up like it does for me. In my ableon they show up as machine mk3 Ctrl and machine Mk3 ETX. When I tried to route all the pads into ableton invaluably the only track that registers a signal is the master track. None of 16 tracks registered a signal. I really would love to try and figure this out, however, I've been so stumped about why this is not working. And it doesn't help that I have adhd cuz when I have a really hard time figuring something out, it's really hard to stay focused with it. By this time I'm determined to figure it out. hopefully. :)

Hey! No, Supercharger GT and Driver aren't stock plugins that come with Maschine. They're separate, Native Instruments plugins but they're definitely worth considering.

It sounds like you're missing some of Ableton's default sounds. The kick is likely part of one of their free sound packs. Check the Ableton website for downloads - they're free for all Live users.
