Citizen Tsuyosa NJ0151-53W Spectrum Review
Переглядів 880Місяць тому
The Citizen Tsuyosa NJ0151-53W or Tsuyosa Spectrum dial is glorious in sunshine and pretty amazing when the light catches it. I haven't seen anything like it. I wonder if Citizen timed this for Pride Month with it's glorious colours and appeal across so many age groups. This is a different sort of review as it’s more about looking at the Tsuyosa Spectrum than listening to the great things about...
New Citizen Tsuyosa Spectrum dial and Tsuyosa Small Seconds

The New Citizen Tsuyosa Spectrum Dial and Tsuyosa Small Seconds I found it difficult to get videos of the watches, particularly the Spectrum dial so I’ve got hold of the watches so you can see what they look like on video - they’re great - truely the best Tsuyosa dials yet! The Spectrum dial Tsuyosa doesn't have any reviews I can find yet but I can tell you it's great! Much better in the metal....

The watch I bought and reviewed is - the Vario Empire Mother of Pearl Watch vario.sg/collections/empire-watch is the link to Vario, who are based in Singapore. This is a lovely dress watch but I use it as an everyday watch too. It is very comfortable and has a beautiful inner dial matched with Ivan’s amazing designer talents.

Introducing @thewatchfulmagpie - a great place to discover more about watch collecting as well as find watches you may not have seen before. There's going to be news, reviews and how-do-you-do's covering aspects nobody else seems to talk about. Welcome!
Interesting Video with some fun watches!
First time I seen a Nubeo watch, interesting. Got a jump hour watch by Surgess a China Watch.
That backlight is amazing, why hasnt that caught on?
I know - it's really clever and effective! Thanks for watching :-)
My grail watch changes every day
The first ones were my favourites, and the white one. Where is your wm tee shirt?
Well done, I bought number 112! Your review is spot on. The only odd thing is the black indices and hands are supposed to be black lum. It's supposed to glow for a very short period, but I don't seem to see anything at all, but actually I don't understand how black could be a lum at all? That aside, I love this watch.
Oh I didn't know about the black lume - there are a few people doing that apparently now but I'm not sure how it would work. Thanks for watching!
Marc from Long Island Watch is terrific. He’s in sales, but also offers honest opinions and tips on his UA-cam channel.
Having purchased a midnight dial Hanhart Pioneer One last year I really love the brand. Eventually I’d like to get another with a red pusher, possibly the Pioneer Mk I. Another watch I’d like to get is the Bremont Supermarine S300 in white with steel bracelet. Yet another brand I’m quite taken with, but do not own, is Meistersinger-they have a number of pieces that I like the look of. However, I really need to see/hold them in person to decide on one.
You are the first watch enthusiast that I have come across that has made a list this extensive. Thank you, great work! I’m really enjoying your channel.
That Citizen Tsuyosa Spectrum is a beauty! You have a crazy cool collection. Not all my cup of tea but still great pieces. Never seen so much color for one collection.
Thanks, yes there's some weird stuff in my collection that is an aquired taste.
You can adapt any strap to it right? any nato I mean.
Ah no you have to buy the Octopod material straps in theory...but I haven't tried cutting bits off a normal nato yet
Enjoyed this. I’ve been wearing my IFL ‘Post Melone’ Casioak recently - it’s quite expensive for what it is and was something of an impulse purchase but such a fun colourful summer piece 🙂
IFL stuff is very cool!
Thanks fo rthe video. Very nice "Summer" watches!!!
Glad you like them!
Brilliant collection. Can't imagine the fun you can have with such variety of colorful watches.
Thanks - I've a new San MArtin arriving which is teal and orange- might review that one as it's fairly zingy.
@@thewatchfulmagpie looking forward to it!
Beautiful 😍
Thank you.

You have a wonderful collection. There isn’t any I wouldn’t like to own. Nice video.
Thank you. They do make me smile when I wear them.
Great video but you are missing a few good reviewers (even if they have fewer subscribers). my favourites are Nico and IDGuy. You also have the 1916 Company and About Effing Time etc.
Cool, I hadn't heard of the 1916 Company so I'll take a look. Always great to find out who's doing useful stuff.
My grail is the best blue dial ever Sarb 009.
Love the blue colour
2x return flights to japan and 1 month accommodation. Expensive watches are crazy.
Can I come too?
grails are always fun to imagine....I'd want the Janvier No 1 from Vianney Halter
Wow thanks for telling me about Vianny Halter as I hadn't come across the brand, very cool watches!
My grail watch would be a 1942 Rolex Chronographe Split Seconds Reference 4113, but that's just me
Nice. What do you think of the 1908?
@@thewatchfulmagpie I actually like it although I wouldn've have minded seeing it with Roman numerals. Good looking watch
Watch looks great. GS on my wish list.
Thanks for the review I’ve been trying to find some nice shots to see the dial. I think I’m convinced! I love the tuyosa I already have yellow and Tiffany blue but this dial is stunning especially for the price. Great review!
are they watch reviewers of watch salesmen?
Some of the reviewers in the video also sell watches or used watches, and one, Adrian Barker, sell straps. Nico Leonard sells extremely expensive watches to rich clients.
i like it
Nice review 😊 I own the mk2 buckle, considering the mk3, but size wise there doesn’t seem to be much to gain. If you want to play around, get some thin leather, it can look fantastic. I did some both brown and green ones.
I would love to get your thoughts on some of my straps! This was a great review 👍
@@nickmankeydesigns I'd love to see them! I'm a total strap monster at the moment.
@@thewatchfulmagpie have a look and shoot me a message! Would love to make something happen. nickmankeydesigns.com/
It looks like the northern lights
I see your collection has grown - the best PM you ever worked with ;) nice work
What a fantastic review! This is exactly the information I was looking for on this strap system. As I write this, the version three buckle is $117 USD + about $13 shipped to the USA. I’m going to hold off for now as the price needs to come down. For the most part, I use NATO straps on my watches so I can change them very quickly when the mood strikes. The only problem I see based on the review is that with the Octopod MK3 buckle, this really is not feasible, and I would need a different buckle for each strap. This is extremely cost prohibitive as I’d sooner put that kind of money towards a new watch. Thank you!👍💪
Thank you for that feedback - much appreciated. The longer I have the Octopod system, the more I realise I could have done better with other watch straps in terms of how much I actually spent!
I was on the fence with this dial color. In the end I got the yellow dial one.
Good choice!
I absolutely love this dial
Same bro
Why not a perlon?
I find those less rigid and the ones I have don't feel good but I know what you mean. Thanks
This should be nicknamed the Star Trek Tsuyosa. Beautiful watch. The only Tsuyosa I’d consider buying. Great video, thanks!
Thanks for watching! It just lights up with the right light.
Thanks and great idea - Discovery series?
Good video. My suggestion is to buy a bronze buckle for your bronze Oris.
Great suggestion!
Great video! I'm going go japan and considering about this one.
Cool, let me know what else you find there!
@@thewatchfulmagpie Choose between this and orient ra-ak0008s, it's a little bit to big for me but the movement is better.
Thanks for the video. Its not one I would wear. Think that my sausage fingers would struggle with the crown. Cheers!!!
Thanks for watching! Yes it's a bit of a "marmite" watch - like it or loathe it. I like it (obviously) however I'd choose when I wore it and where!
I have the same model and really enjoy it. By the way Duzu have a 50% off sale on Friday 14th June from between 12pm GMT-12am GMT
I head about the sale - tempted? I fancy the blue one but the white one may be enough! Are you up for another at the sale price?
Great job you've done here, excellent video. I hope your chanell grows, you deserve it.👏👍
Thanks for the compliment, it really helps motivate me as I'm just getting started on this malarkey and I am a total obsessive on watches. It's fun to find like minded folks.
Loving the channel. Im the 5th subscriber....going to ask a buddy or two to join.
Great - thanks! I'm doing this purely for fun, as I'm so into / obsessed with watch stuff. Appreciate you spreading the word.
