Oh wow.... thank YOU for checking it out and digging it. Great album, indeed. Those first four albums, am I right?? Chuck is such a big influence on me as far as drummers go. @@ChadRock101 One of THE key records I'd play along to growing up was 'Brritish Steel'.... kind of the 'heavy metal' version of 'Back in Black'. Super meat-and-potatoes, and solid...has everything you need. If you can play that record front to back, you'll be juuuuuust fine! Cheers.

Tough to emmulate the great Bill Ward and his style but... kinda made it my own in spots but...super fun tune.

I love when ppl tune in and send comments ( usually pretty nice ones) about my vids., but there's something extra-special when it's on one of my Samhain covers. If you know, you KNOW. Such a cool band. Thanksfor digging it. : )

Hmmmmm....good question.... firstly, thanks for digging my vid. I super-appreciate it. As far as building speed... always slow and stady first ( like many things). Same goes with any rudiment or excercise. Work on different techniques (fingers,wrist,etc) - lots you can do. I must say Ive lost alot of my 'single speed' over time due to various dumb litle non-drumming injusries but....gotta keep working on it. And that's kinda anothet thing too - never stop the practice and WORKING on stuff. Practice slow ( with good technique...whether it's more wrist, push/pull or moeller type stuff...whatever) and then gradually increase speed while maintaining accuracy and power. Remember power isn't always synonymous with LOUD. Metronome is most def your friend. Reach out if there's anything else you wanna pick my brain about. Happy practicing!!

@@ChadRock101 totally. I have yrs of drumcorps background ( playing in competitive pipebands) which has helped immensly. Sadly in my ....ahem......'advanced' age, Ive lost some dexterity, but...... yes, trust the process. Cheers!
