This condition is no joke! I was misdiagnosed 11 yrs ago with dermoid cysts on my ovaries. I always felt something heavy resting on my inner hip bone. Then a yr ago the pain became so debilitating, I sought out new doctors. Sadly, I was misdiagnosed again with 3 different medical issue that didn't show up on my MRI. So found a holistic OBGYN who believed I had adhesions from a csection. Exploratory laparoscopy surgery was done, adhesions were removed, and PCS was discovered. Found a vascular doctor within my network of my medical insurance. It was tough finding a vascular doctor who even took insurance. Without insurance it would have cost me 10K for the surgery. I'm now 1 month into my recovery. Im amazed how my body can reroute blood when a large artery is closes off. So this is a partial explanation from my surgery report for those interested in what I went through. I was told I had the WORST case they've ever seen.... Embolization of left ovarian vein and pelvic varices. The distal left ovarian vein was then catheterized and a balloon occlusion catheter was placed. The balloon was inflated with 1 mL of contrast and venogram demonstrated filling of abnormal pelvic varices around the uterus. The varices were then embolized using 3% Sotradecol foam and the balloon was inflated for 5 minutes. Follow-up venogram demonstrates successful embolization of the abnormal pelvic varices. Then the left ovarian vein is embolized using multiple 10 mm and 12 mm coils. Follow-up venogram demonstrated successful occlusion of the pelvic varices and left ovarian vein.

Could this be the reason men get prostatitis or CPPS without an explanation?

Can this condition cause positional hypertension or extreme fluctuations is blood pressure readings?

I've read that PCS can be diagnosed as a secondary issue after being diagnosed with MTS. Is this true? I had a Spinal Fusion that went horribly wrong back in 2015. The Surgeon accidentally cut the Iliac in my stomach. Since then I've had major leg swelling and pain in my legs. My left leg is worse than my right due to the damage being caused on that side during surgery. I've had issues with my bladder since that 2015 surgery as well. The doctors just wrote off my complaints about it. In 2020 after my first CT Venogram with Contrast I was diagnosed with MTS. Placing a stent would put me on blood thinners so it was recommended to wait to see if things would get better because of my age. I'm now 42 yrs old and was sent for a new updated CT Venogram with contrast last week. I do not get a menstrual cycle due to being on birth control since 2018. I just received my test results and it's suggested that I now have PCS. I'm scheduled to see the Vascular Surgeon in a couple days to have an Ultrasound done on my pelvis and legs to verify I don't have any blood clots. I'm sorry for sharing so much information but I want to make sure I'm fully informed going into my next appt. Please help! Any information would be helpful and much appreciated at this point. TIA.

It's because doctors don't want to treat. They want to send you to specialist who send you to specialist who send you back to your primary. No one cares

I have swelling in both of my feet, legs, abdominal area, fingers and hands. It is very very bad. I have been seeing Dr's nonstop and everyone keeps pushing it onto the next specialist. I just had a veinous scan done have not heard much results. I also have liver issues. I feel like I am going in circles it is so crazy. Sorry to comment here what could you suggest I can do? It is so painful and I can barely walk and my back hurts so badly. I am only 35 and a few short yrs ago was a very healthy 32 yrs old. No issues.

Wow I’ve been in pain for YEARS! It happens when I’m usually ovulating and I don’t know why?.. I’m guessing that I have more blood flow do to hormones during that time.

Thank you doctor for your valuable information about Dvt. I'm diagnosed with Dvt so Doctor prescribed me one month medicine. Now I'm exercising and walking daily. And i stopped to eat sugar and diary products. Two times i was fainted. My all body was sweating and my hands were feeling like electric current and my breathing was short. I think i shall die but after a few minutes i was in good condition.Now I'm feeling better than before my calfs soiling is decreased only God knows my condition. 😔
