This is a problem throughout the country. My family and I were planning to move to Beaumont TX. I am in question now. I came from Vance county NC same problem there. I am now residing in Waller Tx. It appears these same corrupt racist spirit are in Beaumont TX as well. smh

If only we could assign a score for each citizen, you know, increase it when they help out, decrease it when they commit a crime such as jaywalking. I know of a country that would love to sell you facial recognition and AI software for this, and their prices are wayy cheaper than what you're paying Microsoft for the same product. Premature edit: yeah I know its for the greater good and stopping crime should be top priority, and this is rolled out in many places. But this is what we call a slippery slope folks if you love liberty so much. As a side note, being able to give a live stream from your phone to emergancy services is pretty cool. I just hope its used during fires and voilent crime, not just Karens.

Im glad you touched on the improvement on safety that bike lanes and road dieting causes, but I hope other city officials use these so they can see that they should be protected lanes too. I'm sure the council members won't feel as safe as they should in them.

All of them being unprotected makes it seem like the "thorough studies" weren't "thorough" enough but im glad we're taking a step. These are still dangerous if unprotected, imagine making roads with no curbs physical lane markers.

Ever since I exposed corrupt judge Baylor Wortham at this council meeting for aiding and abetted in assisting his top campaign donors and mutual acquaintance Lindsay Lindsay and Parsons in stealing my funds of over $38k, I have been followed by different people on a daily basis. I have the videos and photos recopied, time-stamped, and safely backed up using different devices that I only use for certain purposes without WiFi. The information is being passed down to family members and “others” within the community. The local Victims Assistance Program has refused to assist my family and I a few years ago. Now that some important officials from the Houston are has gotten involved and called out the Beaumont Victims Assistance Program, now they suddenly can assist us. We turned over the damning evidence of corruption AND hate crime against me that stemmed from a simple homeowners insurance claim where the corrupt judges in Beaumont, Texas took a vow to “make my situation worse” like judge Mitch Templeton was taught after law school as he stated himself in those *r@ damning altered and redacted court transcripts that I stumbled across at the district clerk's office. The hidden transcripts were accidentally mixed in with another document.

Things to consider - nice restaurants , upscale luxury apartments, bike lanes, strip clubs, a chipotle, a Starbucks, greenery, day time restaurants with outdoor seating/ hookah(even though I don't smoke hookah), something for the little kids , a dog park( with separate small and large dog areas) luxury nail salon, nice hair salon at least 1 for each texture of hair, the little boats that go on the river, lighting( accent), crumbl, CAVA, concert area?, night clubs of different genres. 1 antique store .
