35yrs ago my mother gave a maori teacher our familys history book because she was interested. Mum had to provd my brother was maori( white wth blue eyes) to get him a grant. The book was never returned. 15yrs ago my eldest brother was studying all our history &land in the king country..he died weeks before the meeting but had given the papers he learnt of( my grandfathers will had "disappeared" for 30+ yrs) to a family in law the worked for maori in parlinent. For the same reason that all the unearthed bones of 8, 9, 10, upwards of 16+ feet tall six fingered red haired and double row of teeth with most of them. Nice work. When I hear Scientist extrapolate volumes and publish findings, I think... They should always add this caveat: "as we understand at this time." Discovery and research continually are re-writing halocene and pleistocene "facts".... add that caveat - imho at this time.
