Unfortunately this tool is a huge waste of money. There is too much flex in the fixture, does not provide consistent results at all. The reference surface did not equal the distance of the measurements at all. Compensation had to be factored in for the offset. Ruined several pockets during testing. Went back to single point cutter, which is reliable, this is a $3600 (or something like that, I could be off) paper weight.

What are you using to level off the intake flange before drilling and tapping
Thank you for your message. To facilitate drilling and tapping on flat surfaces, we provide a special level post with a flat plate that rests on the intake surface. The level sensor is then placed on the post to ensure the proper leveling of cylinder head intake or exhaust faces.
