While Victor has made no confirmation on this, an observation I made is that every 2 seasons of Stories of Sodor, a miniseries gets released. My guess is that the end of season 6 will set up the stage for another mini series. Then after that we will go on to season 7. But I won't be surprised if we don't get a miniseries since it's just a guess.

Cool video. I also don’t consider Gordon as the Prototype of the LNER A1 class because Great Northern was the prototype in real life, so in the AuraVerse, Gordon is a one off build built in 1922 and he also has a rebuild at Doncaster Works. At first I liked the idea of Gordon having a rebuild at Crewe Workshops, but I recently changed it.
So, possible real-world basis for this story: Gordon is an A1, which by UK standards is a VERY large locomotive. Larger steam locomotives take a longer time to steam up, and the only equivalent locomotive in size to Gordon on the line was Henry who was also new. As such, expecting a large steam locomotive to just fire up right then and there is an exercise in futility.
Should Henry be in The Tunnel at this Point.
Well, in My Headcannon, the events of The Three Railway Engines would happen in 1924, in the order of the book
