We are Petrichor Ranch Animal Sanctuary. Petrichor Ranch is a non-profit organization that helps animals in need who have been abandoned or needing rehoming. We currently home cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, tortoises, bunnies/rabbits, goats, and pigs. We strive to give all these animals the best home and care. We love all animals and will continue to do all we can to help them.

My I have 2 cats... one is a long timer, one is the new addition. both over a year old. they have to be separated because my longtime tries to fight new one. but they do this at the door all the time. is that a good sign? but once the door opens, one hides and the other kind of stalks her or wants to go see her and mess with her lol ughhh
It sounds like 1 of them wants to play but the other one is unsure. We have 31 cats here we are caring for. They mostly all get along and usually when they are doing this under the door it's because they are playing.
@@PetrichorRanchAnimalSanctuary Oh wow!!!! Do they ever fight? I've kept them separated since the first time they met mine OG cat attacked the new one. So now it's been months of slowly switching them out and letting them finally eat treats in the same room then back to separating them. Hopefully in time they can coexist and my OG cat won't scare the other one anymore!
@michellekovaric3602 they do a little bit sometimes. Never anything serious. Cats have different personalities just like us and some get along really well and some don't care too much for each other. But they still coexist together. Definitely give them time. Cats are very sensitive. They require time and patience. Some take longer than others to adjust.
