Dog is way over threshold, not learning anything except learned helplessness (whatever I do, I can't escape or scare away this scary thing so I may as well give up trying).Would have been much more helpful if "trainer" had used BAT techniques, CARE protocol or similar to help the dog change its mind about the trigger and feel more positive and calmer in its presence.Yanking the dog around by force isn't helping the dog to make good choices or learn how to behave. You can't learn how to ride a bike with someone holding the bike up and pushing it for you can you? You need to learn to balance the bike and pedal it yourself.Doesn't look like the "trainers" have any real understanding of classical and counter conditioning... :/I can see that they are trying to do what's best for the dog but really they need to go back and learn more before attempting this again with another dog.

This is... Not right. Lol. I would not take my dog to a trainer that trained like this. Watching you guys allowing dogs aggressively running at the German Shepherd is abhorrent. And you rewarded the Chihuahua? Really?

My husband and I adopted a 3yr (appx) female German Shepherd from the Dallas pound. This was back in January 2017. She is a very loving dog with my husband, our other dog Gin Gin (chihuahua), and my husbands 92 yr old mother. However, she show extreme aggression to anyone else who comes into our home. She is also aggressive towards other dogs. For this reason it difficult to have family and friends over. We also like to travel and stay in pet friendly hotels. She is fine unless we run into another dog. Any suggestions??

that dog is being FLOODED!!! and even 10 minutes i way to long.. I have owned and trained GSD's since the late 80 ths AND i am also educated in ethology, behavior and espec. how to manage reactive dogs.... i really wonder where you have your education from - this was just sad to watch :( try to get a proper eduaction that is based upon th latest science and positive training...

Mine is aggressive as well to both people and dogs. His hair stands up and does the same as the video I need help because the sound of this video wasn't great so I wasn't able to take any tips from it.
