Dremel Dust Blower Fan Attachment from banggood.com - No2
Переглядів 29 тис.7 років тому
This is a video about the efficiency of a dust blower from bangood.com. www.banggood.com/Dust-Blower-with-British-System-ThreadMetric-Thread-Tool-Accessory-for-Dremel-p-995249.html The same drilling with and without the blower. This blower is enough if you wish to blow dust while drilling or grinding. However, if you only wish to blow large amount of dust (and not only dust), without drilling, ...

Perfect, no song and dance dog and pony crap. Just a quick after vs before demo. Thank you, ordering my own now.
I thought about disassembling the keyboard for cleaning... but now I think, cleaning just outside is enough for this quite old computer.
You don't have to disassemble the whole laptop like in the video. you don't need to remove the hinges and monitor.
Since you're forced to remove 99.9% of this b*tch to replace the keyboard, don't forget to clean your fans and re-paste your CPU and GPU.
D key works only after applying more force. Can I fix this key without replacing whole keyboard?
Please go to this link, I had issues with my keyboard and by watching this video it allowed me to fix my keyboard issue in a couple of minutes ua-cam.com/video/2MLkY1WwV-k/v-deo.html you just need to find the connector to your keyboard and clean it up...
Thank you this worked for me 👌🏽
Worst tutorial video ever
Thanks for sharing with us, really useful video
When you see this ... you know that no need to buy anymore Lenovo .. where is the thinkpad style to swap keyboard ... ? This is insane ... all is done to trash laptop after 2 years ... stupid chinese style !
Damn... nope.
I replaced the keyboard on the 17isk. You really have to somehow fix these little plastic pins, otherwise you have a somewhat wobbly keyboard afterwards.. with a soldering iron for example. This model here is slightly different than mine, mine is even worse. You can't take off that metal plate at the end completely, lol. Have to mold it back together with "plastic welding technique" like that. I will do that another time.
Great video! I now have a functional keyboard...typing this from a mental asylum...
That has got to be the worst product design in the history of laptops. You have to take apart the entire machine! Guess my stepson will continue using a USB keyboard on his.
Hello i need help i have a broken keyboard 15isk but i cant found an azerty one can i add the keyboard of a lenovo y700-15isk instead ?
my Y700's keyboard is going crazy. First, the FN + key combinations stopped working. Now keys in the middle like J, M, U are troublesome. I need to double press or hold to get a key pressed, getting lots of repeats. Happens regardless of Windows or Linux. I suppose the heat destroyed part of the circuits, probably also the controller (btw anyone knows where the keyboard controller is located?). I am about to buy a new one and replace but I am not sure this is gonna be effective. Considering the amount of work, I'd like to ask you guys, what was the reason for your replacements? Will it help fixing my problems?
In my case, some of the keys became unresponsive from time to time, regardless of the OS. I think that the main cause of the keyboard failure is the flat cable that connects it to the motherboard. It is bent at 180 degree angle and probably some of the lines break.
The one who designed this shit is a dumbass.
Can you replace mine too?
No, one was enough for me ;-)
@@nemilose hahaha I’ve found someone thanks any way
I wanted to relace mine but realized that its a shitload of work halfway through the rocess.
How much did the laptop cost and what charger does it use
The price was ~ 1000 eur. Charger is 20V, 6.75 A
Thinking of replacing my own, saw this and never consider replacing it again.
Stupid designer, must be fired from Lenovo and never be hired again!!!
So you basically need to remove everything just to change the damn keyboard? Stupid design. My friend gave me this laptop and asked if I can repair his keyboard, but it's so compliacted.
Thanks this was really illuminating. Wrote this using an external keyboard on my Y700.
I'm tired of Laptops keyboards breaking and then it is impossible to find a new one...I'm probably going to go Mac, because there seems to be more of an ecosystem of spare parts and repairs...
mac isn't much better, apple does their best to make spare parts illegal to buy yourself. They've claimed spare parts you ship in yourself are counterfeit so customs seizes them. You also can't even replace an SSD yourself because of the built in 'security' chip. I broke my screen on my ideapad 700 and that was at least easy and cheap to replace because i don't have a touchscreen. But my control keys stopped working and it's stupidly difficult to take apart. Many companies solder many things so nothing is user replaceable. Just buy a more popular laptop so you can find parts and one that's easier to take apart.
Don't think i'll be trying this
What a useless video. No explanation but just showing a repairman at work
Let me explain: you need to unscrew everything that he unscrews and cut these plastic dots that he cuts. What else would you need?
Cry about it
Hola consulta que modelo es el teclado
I wish I known this before buying this laptop. This is absolutely crazy
So In order to replace the keyboard, I have to scrap off all the melted pins? how the heck am I suppose to put them back on then?
With a soldering iron, I guess. I have to think about that now. I replaced the keyboard, but it's wobbly. -_-
hot glue
i just want to ask if how can i put back the block dots (plastic locks that you cut it with the red blade)? do i need to look and buy for that? what is it called? ^_^ thanks!
I have used the hot glue gun, but I have not glued all the dots. It is not that much critical. The keyboard is being held by hinges on one side and by the touchpad onto the other.
the 300 series was so much better then they go to the 340 series and decide lets make it a shit storm so people will realize we suck at building laptops. Also the back doesnt come off like that its much harder than that.
In my 20 years working on laptops this wins the prize as the most insane amount of work to replace a stinking keyboard.
Thanks, this was very helpdfull. You should have also record the end, when you build back the differents pieces, this is such tricky I guess it could help some newbies.
It's a good idea to photograph at every major step the tear down process of a laptop you're unfamiliar with just for this reason.
I own a 15ISK and just think its such a pain to do a full breakdown to replace your keyboard. Lenovo needs to do what they did with their Thinkpad line. Keyboard replacement was so simple. Lol!
Hi, i'm looking for a new keyboard but i don't find 17ISK version I wonder if it's the same as 15ISK? your video is very nice but once the keyboard changed, how do you replace the plastic you cut ? Thanks !!
It should be the same keyboard. I bought mine on Aliexpress and the seller wrote that the keyboard is for "700-15 700-15ISK 700-17ISK 700-17". I used hot glue gun to replace plastic parts. I did not glue all the plastics, just 10-15 around the keyboard. Be careful about the keyboard layout. I had to cut the top cover at several places in order to fit the keyboard.
@@nemilose hi, thanks for the video, is the hot glue holding up? Is everything going fine till date ? Me too wanted to do the same
@@thomasnuovo Yes, everything is working without any problem. Hot glue is not the only thing that holds the keyboard in place. It is partially held by the hinges on one side and by the touchpad on the other.
