    Lemme give you an advice. You should have started the video with following line: In this video, i am going to do an unboxing and a review of the Wazoo Viking Spark Necklace! This is the package and lets get right to it! I love pizza. But i don't hook pizzas while trying to fish. No wonder you don't have many views. Think about what the fish wants not what you want!

    Looks like a very nice EDC pouch.

  • @informationtransmitter599

    Owned one of these. They are very low quality and don't have the lanyard ring. I returned it after awhile. I recommend Silva or Suunto. If your looking for a military lensatic compass, purchase a actual Cammenga military compass. I've used multiple Brunton compasses. Just don't purchase there products.

      The Cammenga is great but retardedly expensive if you are not spending Government money buying it. (additionally when buying from overseas with a near 20:1 exchange rate like me) Yes, it is nice to have great kit that costs a ton until you have to factor in it getting lost/ stolen and budgeting for other essential items. What makes the Brunton very low quality? Genuine question.

    • @informationtransmitter599
      @informationtransmitter599 5 місяців тому

      @@Leec_1972 Owned this compass. Dial was loose to the point of being about to fall off. Wire on sight broke within the first week. Glow markings of poor quality and only in some of the places they were supposed to be. Returned the compass to the supplier as defective and got refund. I have owned other Bruntons and they all had serious quality control issues. As stated in the original comment, if a authentic military Cammenga compass is not an option, I recommend a Silva or Suunto. They both produce excellent reasonably priced compasses that you can really depend on.

    • @Leec_1972
      @Leec_1972 5 місяців тому

      @@informationtransmitter599 Thank you for the detailed reply. Such a pity the quality is so bad. Yes, in light of that I think a Silva or Suunto is the way to go.

    @MaxS535 Рік тому

    Hey Bob. I think these videos you make are useful. Because of this, I want you to be more successful in getting views, so more people can find your video reviews before buying the item. So, to get more views/clicks, I think you should consider doing this when making a video: 1. More "sensationalized" video titles. For example, you could title a video "*product name*: Waste of money? | Review and Showcase" or "*product name*: Most overlooked camping item? | Review and Showcase" or "*product name*: Taste Test & Review" or "*product name*: Use, Specs, Quality | Review and Showcase". Etc. The best advice for titles is to search for similar products, look at the most popular videos, and try to create a similar title (though stay original!). 2. Better thumbnails. Thumbnails are what people look at mainly when choosing a video to watch. You don't have to have fancy graphics or editing, but going outside in the sun, and doing an interesting pose to showcase the item would pretty greatly improve the look, and in turn more folks would click. 3. More organized layout of the video/script/notes. Basically, just have a more organized video. For a review video like this, I would have a script, or at least notes written down. First a short introduction (who you are and what the video will be), quickly explain the product youre showcasing, and explain the main points about the packaging (how did it arrive? mailer? box? letter? Is it visually pleasing? Is it professional? etc). This part shouldn't take too much time because it isn't that imperative, and could be boring. Then go on to take the product out and show what it looks like, and point out its features (colors available, overall build quality, is it plastic? metal? How much does it weigh? etc.). Then the use for the item, what is it used for? What conditions is it best in? etc. Lastly, your review and notes, I liked abc about it, but didn't like xyz about it. maybe check out this other product! I did a review of it here: *link*, etc. And then an ending where you can plug in your social media, tell folks to like/subscribe, etc. I am not an expert or anything, but I hope you take this un-asked-for advice into consideration. I want to see your videos improve, as well as their viewership/success. Also I recommend looking at other people's videos, and copying what they are doing. This is probably the best thing you can do - since it clearly works for those people. For example, check out: www.youtube.com/@mkbhd/videos or www.youtube.com/@MyLifeOutdoors/videos

      Good on ya, but still a handy hack for many other people: 1) that soft bottle has a tendency to pop - before/when it fails, many people replace it with a free smartwater-style bottle. 2) I do use a bigger, better soft bottle, but i like to wrap it around the sawyer mini (or similar filters from other manufacturers) when done filtering to save a bit of space.

    Nice kit man, rather well thought out. Im curious as to why you do much floating loose in the, why not use the loops? Would be easier and quicker to grab some of those items if they were. The tool you were unsure about was a bottle opener/screwdriver.

  • @lesliemiller5790
    @lesliemiller5790 Рік тому

    glue a flat piece of plastic to the top after cutting. Drill a small hole thru the center of the cap and glue it to the clean end of the filter so it is as strong as you can get it. Then you can attach a bottle of clean water to the clean end and backflush your filter without carrying the syringe. I would not get the 3/8 screw cap like others suggest, first because the bottle is free and second because it will protect the threads AND keep the water from dripping. I always shake my filter after back flushing it just to get as much water out as I can anyway. I don't want any water left inside, so in case I am in a cold environment, it is less chance of freezing. If you glue a flat piece of plastic to the bottom of the cut of end, you reduce the overall length of the system (not a big deal, but every little bit of room in you pack adds up)
