by the time you got this up and running the skip would have died away. no offence &i don't doubt for a minute that this guy hasn't put a lot of time and effort into this antenna but it just seems a bit time consuming that's all. i use a gainmaster for static mobile use along with an RM KL203 amp with my 3900 and i've blasted into north and south america and aus/nz and the sirio is up in two minutes.
