Charles Bukowski's Most Savage Quotes That'll Make You Become A Real Man!
Charles Bukowski's Most Savage Quotes That'll Make You Become A Real Man! #Quotes #Quote #CharlesBukowski
Hi everyone! Today's Daily Reminder is come from a German-American Poet, Novelist, and Short-story writer, Charles Bukowski.
His writing was influenced by the social, cultural, and economic ambience of his adopted home city of Los Angeles. Bukowski's work addresses the ordinary lives of poor Americans, the act of writing, alcohol, relationships with women, and the drudgery of work. The FBI kept a file on him as a result of his column Notes of a Dirty Old Man in the LA underground newspaper Open City.
Bukowski published extensively in small literary magazines and with small presses beginning in the early 1940s and continuing on through the early 1990s. He wrote thousands of poems, hundreds of short stories and six novels, eventually publishing over sixty books during the course of his career. Some of these works include his Poems Written Before Jumping Out of an 8 Story Window, published by his friend and fellow poet Charles Potts, and better known works such as Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame. These poems and stories were later republished by John Martin's Black Sparrow Press (now HarperCollins/Ecco Press) as collected volumes of his work. As noted by one reviewer, "Bukowski continued to be, thanks to his antics and deliberate clownish performances, the king of the underground and the epitome of the littles in the ensuing decades, stressing his loyalty to those small press editors who had first championed his work and consolidating his presence in new ventures such as the New York Quarterly, Chiron Review, or Slipstream."
In 1986, Time called Bukowski a "laureate of American lowlife". Regarding his enduring popular appeal, Adam Kirsch of The New Yorker wrote, "the secret of Bukowski's appeal ... is that he combines the confessional poet's promise of intimacy with the larger-than-life aplomb of a pulp-fiction hero."
During his lifetime, Bukowski received little attention from academic critics in the USA, but was better received in Europe, particularly the UK, and especially Germany, where he was born. Since his death in March 1994, Bukowski has been the subject of a number of critical articles and books about both his life and writings.
We hope you enjoy it, thankyou!

I really like this video. I hope it stays on UA-cam. I always want to come back to it - I have added it to my playlist.
Amazing video, I also have a content on my channel with his best quotes, great man!✍🏻
❤

I don’t know why someone read this and then slowed it down to make it sound more rich. It sounds slurred and like the person had a stroke or is kind of drunk. Makes this hard to listen to. Love CS Lewis though…
It’s good to hear little quotes from Mr. Lewis. Thank you for sharing this.
Impactful
Beatiful quotes AND beatiful sound music
You have no soul. You are the soul. You (are the Soul) who have a body. __CS Lewis__
Which one is easier? Trying to get rid of all the sharp gravel on every path to walk on or wearing shoes so that our feet don't get hurt? Which one is more likely? Trying to sterilize all places so that there are no germs or strengthen our own immune systems? Which one is easier? Trying to prevent every mouth from speaking indiscriminately or keeping our own hearts from being irritable? Which one is more important? Trying to master others or learning to master yourself? After musing, after contemplating. Apparently what matters is, not how people should be good to us, it's how we try to be good at everyone. It is not someone else who can make us happy, rather it is our own behavior and feelings that determine whether we are happy or not. Because, happiness is within. it is within us.
Thank you!! ♥️ I love C.S. Lewis
this guy voice is sooo annoying bruh, jeez, cringe, total tryhard , just chill your balls bro , you dont need to sound like a wisdom old man that came out of narnia
This knew a lot about life and truth, sometimes the truth hurts. He knew lots about WOMEN FORSURE .
yeah he does i think. Because i don't know much about being a woman 😃
I love your channel and your inspiring videos! It could help you to use a site such as P R O M O S M!!!
The first quote was great. I understand a lot people after hearing it. Henry Ford passed away in 1947, yet he is still providing employment, lessons, and learning opportunities. Thanks Mr. Ford!!!!
Great.😍❤️👌
Great messages and great music, thank you!
Very nice

This would have been great minus the robotic narration.
Hi there! Thanks for the critic, we'll working to make it better soon.
Or the low, bassy, over-emphasized narration.
If you change the playback speed to 1.25 it sounds normal
"Settings: Speed: 1.25 "
He created enough disasters and took advantage of enough disasters to be very rich.
Great inspiration and teaching. Thank you for posting this for us!
True
Lol wtf 🤣
Edgy
He was such a depressed man
How do you know he was depressed?
How come his words are so cheering ?
Think your missing where he was coming from!!
You may be the troubled one.
He was wise
All women are manipulative, and have no legitimate reason to cry. - Socrates Why is this formatted like an inspirational quote? All this does is undermine half the people on earth.
If he meant then he would have just said that. You don’t have kids do you, because when kids want something they cry. Point is that be aware of being lied to when someone uses the one thing we are biologically designed to listen to. Most women are manupalitive btw
bull crap
People fear pain the most, death is easy.
Wrong. And this is stupid. A child needs to be taught of what is right and what is wrong as well as what is good and what isn’t good for them. They can’t differentiate the two as they are young and brain aren’t fully developed to use common sense because they have not learned enough in life to understand. You teach them by enabling them to continue doing what is good and preventing them from going on the wrong path. You don’t allow your kid to run on the road because they’ll be hit by a car and die. You don’t enable that to continue just as you stop them from using other harmful things like playing with fire. It looks fascinating but you stop them from reaching out coz they’ll get burnt. Just the same as reprimanding or disciplining them when they misbehave. You teach them manners by rewarding them when they show good behaviour and chastise them when they are rude and disrespectful or when they steal something because it isn’t right. How would they know what they’re doing is acceptable or not? If you’re a good parent you will teach your child from a young age so they don’t suffer later in life. This is so stupid and I can’t believe I have to write a whole damn essay to explain the stupidity of this post.
Godbles ju super 👏💖⭐👍❤️
Keep up the good work ( :
Fair point. Did not consider that.
🙂 Nice
Nice
This man is a symbol of American Philosophy of Individual Achievement. His story and President Obama's is only possible in the U. S. A.
I thought there would be something inspirational in the end
This is so true! Everybody has a dark side, it is so hard to trust anyone and this goes with family members as well.
Some great advice😂
That first one is so dumb. People have been saying that being ugly is a sign of evil for all of history, and for all of history it has been wrong
I forgive, but I don't forget.
mute
This is wonderful!! I love it! I know it has only been a day, but this deserves way more likes!
If you are a good worker and know your stuff become self employed. If you are a slacker, work for someone else.
In 2008 I was struggling financially. A friend saw me looking at real estate foreclosures and chastised me with a disgusted tone asking 'Arent you busy enough already?'. Ten years on I am retired from my 9 to 5 and collecting twice as much in rent that I ever made working 40 hours a week.
Great Video!!!
Very powerful message
Great video keep up the good work 💯🔥
Thanks! Will do!
Nice video 💯🔥
