@nextlevelsimgaming I have an i9 13900k the only thing I did was put a negative offset and that was about it. Does your way by syncing all cores and so on use more resources than it should and shortens the lifespan of my components or is it the same thing?
@ No, the cores behave independently so some boost, some idle, the fluctuations in these causes instabilities if the voltage regulation is incorrect, hence the crashes prior to the microcode revision. By syncing the cores they will work in unification, and more consistent, they will still idle, they only go to 5500 when required

Is there a reason why mine still running so hot do you keep the turbo mode on? When I disable it I get stock performance or am I not doing it right? I've never seen a cpu running at 90 degrees on games I've tried everything
@@TonySgolf I only enable Turbo fan curve for when I’m benchmarking, I use Corsair iCue to control fans normally this is very system intensive so disable this and other running processes. I’m starting to understand undervolting more especially from you’re videos can you recommend me something to learn more about overclocks and undervolting To have a better understanding
Actually Hardcore Overclocking is one of the good tuning channels, a lot of PC tuning, overclocking and undervolting is learned through experience, its time consuming, often frustrating, but is an interesting hobby at times. Its difficult to convey as peoples systems vary a lot, what works for one often doesn’t work for others.
How come the powerline flickering so hard

hi there mate, i have ran these settings, decent changes in temperatures etc, and not a massive performance loss. When stressing on the XTU I do not hit a current or power limit, is this normal?
@@haxenabled9294 Its not actually, are you using an i9 14900k?, the current and power limits relate to the Intel settings we applied 400a & 253/253 it sounds like its not delivering on the cores, what does the core clock show it’s reaching in 3D Matk?
Many thanks! You saved my life. I used XMP1 profile as I didn't find XMP-Tweak in the BIOS. I also set -0.070 in BIOS without trying or tuning it on XTU since it is not available for Linux. Now it is quite stable under 85-88 Celsius during the stress test. Great guide but I will just buy an AMD next time LOL.
No problem, and thank you for the super thanks too glad to be of help 🙂
@@nextlevelsimgaming maybe out of topic, will this setting only somehow confines the CPU power usage but it will not stop process that is already on CPU right? For example, if I run multiprocessing in Python, will it kill some the process directly? For some reason, I am experiencing this issue today after the tuning.
@ Re-Enable Intel Virtualisation, its only required to be off to make XTU run, that may affect such processes
@ Check event logs, and look for any errors relating to the absence of Intel VTX re enable it if so, however in answer to your question, no the reduction in power is within the tolerance of the processor and won’t restrict performance
@@nextlevelsimgaming Man thanks so much for the help. Re-enabling Intel Virtualization didn't really work, and somehow setting it at -0.03 solves the problem. I also tried the default setting, it also kills, I don't know why actually. I think perhaps I should also go for the RMA...
Bro I finally got my 14700k overclocked to 6ghz all core stable with tvb and kept it under 1.5v using these settings…. A couple minor adjustments were made to better suit the 14700kf instead of an i9 but generally speaking you’re gonna get the same or higher cpu score by overclocking the i7 in gaming price per$ than you will with an i9 so I’ve been trying to perfectly balance this cpu…. Now that the OC/UV is stable I just need to install my thermal grizzly mounting bracket so I get proper heat transfer. Good thing I’ve got a brand new kryosheet waiting for it.. Since I plan on using the kryosheet would you recommend full blown delidding my cpu and going direct die like with Liquid Metal? Seems more straightforward to install on a GPU performance wise than a CPU but my 4080 super stays below 45c overclocked to the max at +15% and stable
Its really aimed at the novice user, so to start giving advice on delidding etc would be out of my remit to be honest, my view on going that far with tuning is that you relinquish all chances of an RMA if the processor does develop a fault, so wouldn’t really like to say. Ultimately its your chip to do what you please, but it becomes addictive in the respect that you can push the boundaries too far. Glad the guidance has helped though 😉
I am not sure I want to make further adjustments. Your previous 55 tuning guide has worked wonders for me. There is a strong belief out there that single core boost kills processors.
You don’t need to make any adjustments you’ll be glad to hear, the video is a good demonstration that the settings are still the best, even 9800X3D users are sync’ing all cores now 😉
@nextlevelsimgaming Wow even AMD owners are synchronizing cores?
@ Yep, the performance gains are pretty good on the new 9800X3D surprisingly 😲

@@luiscolon9873 The standard profile just doesn’t work well with the Intel recommended power levels, hence why as enthusiasts we are forced to take matters into our own hands. The problem is, the motherboard manufacturers ran the processors at unlimited power, they obviously were degrading as they were never able to cope with the thermal dynamics of such, so as the video demonstrates, the only way to rectify this is by syncing the cores, and undervolting to tune efficiently.
