I've been using Spiral Serpent instead of Terrorking. It does leave room to brick you, but the extra attack for the free summon off fish sonar is pretty nice.

Dark World is a disgusting vile deck. It doesn't lack power or anything, it can be incredibly hard to hand trap and unless you Shifter/Droll them you lose your entire hand.... The issue is just running into 1 or 2 Maliss players in bracket ends your chances of topping. They also struggle against Dweller in Ryzeal. I will never sleep on this deck though and think it's one of the strongest decks shown here. I will never forget last WCQ season during one of the top cut matches the DW player went 2nd into a absolute full combo Spright board, and the Spright player lost their board and hand, then got OTKd.

I play essentially the same list except I also added some Melffy which only takes 2 spots in Main Deck. Depending on the desired free spot ratio and Extra Deck profile it can be an interesting option

Ryu-Ge is worth investing in. It goes well with Swordsoul, Dinos/Dinomorphia, True Draco, and Invoked.

The combo with Machine Duplication ended wayyy sub par, you ended on the same 1 card combo board after Machine Duplication resolved, how does that make sense lol should have another rank 5 on that board, take your pick.

I think another deck that has great potential is Ragnaraika or related piles. The price point for the Raika core is similar to Goblins and I think they have similar versatility as Goblins in slotting them in lots of varied strategies for varying budgets. Raika can be played with Naturia, Rikka, Traptrix, in Insect pile with Beetrooper and Battlewasp, in Ogdoadic Reptile pile, and probably more. I do think Goblins are a more effective strategy overall, however, and they're gonna continue getting support over time.

On HEROs: Absolute Zero, Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, Stratos and Liquid Soldier are all staples for an effective deck, and... well, they're middling to expensive. A quality omni hero deck will cost £50-60, going up to £100 if you include staple spells like Droplet or Triple Tactics, or Ash/Imperm. Recommendation: if you want hand traps on a budget, ignore ghost girls, imperm or ash... take Droll and lock bird, effect veiler and fantastical dragon phantazmay. Still very useful and like £1-2 each. Phantazmay playsets often go on ebay for like £4 and everyone runs link monsters so its going to get used

As a floo player myself, I will say Lancea is eh. All it really does is stop map and potential follow up. But if you have some birds in hand and proper build, you can end on Empen, DT, little bird in hand. Also, Snowl is insane right now. It is the bane of Ryzeal. And don't sleep on Scary Sea.
