Frankly, this old fanmade version kicks the shit out of the Hironobu Kageyama versions, which honestly sound phoned-in (and this is coming from someone who is usually a big fan of Kageyama).
You can hear the emotion in every word and man, that just makes it so much better. I'm unbelievably hyped for others to experience this gem for the first time, and I'm praying it does well with every fiber of my being.
Square Enix: So, JAM Project sang this instrumental music we made? Good. Call in that guy who voiced the protagonist of another show that has theme song sang by JAM Project! I'm talking about Kenji Akabane, the guy who voiced Kouji Kabuto in Shin Mazinger! Then have him voice Akira!
I mean the OG was already just the Mazinger Z theme with some notes switched around. Might as well go all out! ... Actually now that I think about it OG Koji (Hiroya Ishimaru) is also gonna be in the game... OH GOD!
