Part 3 of Kyoto Diaries 😄✨
--
Hey guys! Welcome back to my Kyoto Japan Diaries series (after a looooooong while). In this third part, we'll be exploring two iconic landmarks: Starbucks Ninenzaka and Fushimi Inari Taisha.
Starbucks Ninenzaka
Starbucks Ninenzaka is a popular tourist spot in Kyoto, Japan, known for its unique style that stands out. The cafe itself is beautifully designed with traditional Japanese architecture and decor. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Fushimi Inari Taisha
Fushimi Inari Taisha is a famous Shinto shrine known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates. We spent a couple of hours wandering through the forest of torii gates, taking in the beautiful scenery. The shrine is a popular spot for tourists, so be prepared for crowds, especially during peak season.
I enjoy remembering my travels.
Will soon upload my first rickshaw ride experience in Part 4. ☺️

They’re like a collection of your growth and pieces of your heart from different eras of yourself. BENEFITS OF KEEPING A JOURNAL✨ Keeping a journal offers a wide range of benefits, both for mental well-being and personal growth. Here are some of the key advantage...

Hello! Yung bus po ba papuntang Ropeway is nasa may Shiga train station lang? And need pa ba mag rent ng pants? or kaya naman po ng normal pants + heat tech leggings? haha
Hm per bucket nila?
Hey do they allow parents to stay for a week or two?
Very nice😍
Is it Takeshima in the video? It's so beautiful! There is a beautiful island called Dokdo in Korea, too. I hope you visit there
Hello ma'am. I would like to ask. Mahilig kasi ako sa music and watching movies.. So the thing is i have a bookshelf speaker which is main source output ng music ko.. Di ba sya nakaka bulahaw sa nextdoor neighbor?
Is it really needed that an applicant should know how to drive and have drivers license?
Good day. Need po ba licensed driver po? Sa reqs kc sa chesham rec inc nklgay dpat mrnong magdrive. Sana po mpansin.
Territories of Korea from ancient times: Dokdo is recorded as our land along with Ulleungdo Island in various historical records such as the Samguk Sagi, Sejong Silokji, and so on. Effective Domination in the Joseon Dynasty: During the Joseon Dynasty, the government exercised practical control by collecting seafood from Dokdo and managing Dokdo from Ulleungdo. Clear Territory Marking of the Korean Empire: A law enacted during the Korean Empire clearly defined Dokdo as an annexed island of Ulleungdo. Dokdo is only 87 km away from Ulleungdo, and the topography clearly shows that it is an annexed island of Ulleungdo. Long distance from the Japanese mainland: On the other hand, Dokdo is 157 km away from the Japanese island of Oki, making it geographically very far from the Japanese mainland. The international community respects Korea's sovereignty over Dokdo, and Japan's claims are baseless under international law.
If you exposed your face in your intro, why wouldn’t you just show your face in the video?
It's KYUSHOKU (給食) for school lunch. KYOUSHOKU (教職) would usually mean teaching profession.
Is this apartment provided by the ALT company?
i have my second interview next week and i’m sooo nervous!!
Hey there, from a former Filipino-American ALT back in 1993! Japan’s an amazing adventure-enjoy every moment. 🍜 By the way, I share Costco Japan deals and some Filipino finds on my channel. If that sounds helpful, I'd be honored if you subscribe. 🙏 I’m happy to subscribe to your channel as well! 🎥
Osaka excellent place to visit. My home.
Do you still live here?
@@hararosco Yes and loving it better than Tokyo
I just got my offer and leaving March of 2025. I’m super excited
Same 😅
I’m happy for you! I hope you’ll have a great time! ✨ are you gonna teach JHS? Or Elem?
@@hararosco I haven’t got my position just yet, (they will be contacting me in October to let me know where I’ll be) but I think it would lean closer to JHS.
Hi I just got a response that they want to move forward with my application. Any tips for the phone interview I should know. Thank you in advance.
Hey, I also got an offer and will be leaving March of 2025. Can we connect on social media?
From what I take from this... You need to adhere to Japanese social norms while working in Japan... Sounds reasonable, like when in Rome do as the Romans do
Yes. That’s right. ✨ some people find these customs easy to follow, while some don’t. 🥹
My wife and I are hoping to start a life in Japan, we have pets and are hoping to buy an akiya

Hi Miss! Genuine question, I heard Leopalace's 1st floor apartments usually have a lot of unfriendly visitors like roaches... Can you share your experience regarding this?

@@hararosco omg.. nice city.
Hi, what month po kayo pumunta? thanks
Hello Anne! ✨ last month lang to, January.
Nice to see a video from you again. I visited Osaka back in December 2019.
Thank you for remembering those times! ☺️✨
Did you know basic Japanese when you applied to be an ALT? Do you prefer ALT or Eikaiwa?
Hi Christina! I knew a little bit of Japanese then but just literally the basic. But I wasn’t confident speaking the language. 😅 To be honest, I prefer Eikaiwa environment but schedule wise, ALT. ☺️ Let me know if you have other questions.
Hello! I'll be working for Interac starting in March/April 2024. From reading the other comments, I see that the pay is pretty bad. If you don't mind me asking, what other job can a person get to supplement their income while working as an Interac ALT in Japan?
Hi! Congratulations on getting in! I have got my final interview with Interac scheduled for tomorrow. Could you help me with what they usually ask during the 30 minutes interview? I'd really appreciate a response. Thank you!
@@ankitadutta6461 Yes. The interview was REALLY easy. I didn’t really prepare and just spoke truthfully. If I remember correctly, they ask questions such as 1. Why you want to work in Japan? 2. Will you have enough saved money to tough it out until your first paycheck? 3. Can you drive? 4. Do you have experience working with children? 5. Are you comfortable working at multiple schools. It’s really basic questions. I guess to succeed just ask yourself why you want to move to Japan, why you want to work in Japan, why you want to teach English and children in Japan, do you have what takes to leave your country and settle in Japan. Think about that and make it sound good for an interview setting. Since I don’t remember the questions specifically, this is the best advice I can give. Oh, and appear CONFIDENT. Don’t come across as an anime obsessed weirdo and you should do fine.
@@TheseEyesSeeDarknessClearly7 Thank you so much for your quick response. I'm so nervous right now, i'm going through youtube trying to learn what I can last minute. I've been feeling really low, but reading your comment saying that you got in gave me some hope. Hopefully I make it too! Good luck to you! Also, in response to your question earlier and from my research, I have gathered that you will be getting an instructor visa, which means if you wish to work part time, you might have to take up jobs in the educational field. Tutoring, for instance.
@@ankitadutta6461 thanks! Also if you are doing online research, you can type “Interac interview questions Reddit” into google and read posts from other people. I’m pretty sure that’s what I mainly used to prepare. In fact, I’m doing it right now and the very first post lists all the questions a person got during their interview. Not sure if I can link here but I’ll try in a separate reply
Hi! Congratulations again! 🫶 well, Interact is just a stepping stone. Your world will be opened once you’re there. There are a lot of tutorial jobs you can have when you search the internet. ✨ they pay better. Let me know if you have other questions.
❤ who's the owner? 😅😅
Who is the owner of what?
What about the Borderlink??
I don’t know much about Borderlink but I heard they don’t have great pay. 🙂 But maybe it depends on cases to cases.
I can relate to this! If you had to choose would you choose Kanto or Kansai. I also wonder which you would prefer for work?
hi po mai FB po ba kayo? or my video po ba kayu ng experience nyo pag apply as ALT po? salamat
Did your feet feel tired walking around in the sandals?
Haha it was quite tiring. I like moving a lot so I had to try to be slower. But all in all I almost didn’t mind it. 😅
Did you have to show a bank statement or bank certificate?
On the way to Tokyo. Hope we meet at any place if fated........😇
We can have coffee when we do! ☺️
Is there a chance that u can have someone to be with?
Yes yes. You have that option. ☺️ Just make sure it is within the policies of the apartment. Some have limits like up to 2-3 people only.
4:45 I miss katsuya lol
Hahaha! They’re my favorite!
Ka cute man aning date uy 😍

Hi, Im also Filipino. Cute vlog! Can you wear regular shoes (we’ll be going during Autumn season) with the kimono? I know it wont match but I don’t think my mom & niece can walk with those traditional slippers on the busy streets of Kyoto
Hello Amz! Yes you can. 😂 I totally understand. Comfort before style 🔥 Have fun!!!
No windows??
I’ve got windows. 2 sliding ones. 😌
I'll never understand why people show their toilet.
That’s okay. ☺️ a lot of people don’t get it.
