This pr guy shoukd have learned a little more facts and numbers about hus products.
I've got the little brother 600w orange unit not the mini. Its been great love the swappable batteries! Although it's not as efficient as others it's still an awesome design. I literally have no power anxiety about running out of battery 🔋 can just grab another.
@@happycamper010 right?! Cool design for sure!
Wow, that is a lot of discrete pieces, and options for configuration! I quite like that the batteries can be charged directly from solar or grid outside of the unit, so you can use the power station elsewhere at the same time, and rotate the batteries.
Nice.
Appreciate the video. 👍
I thought you needed the B300S batteries to run the AC500 ?
The AC500 can run with up to 4 B300 batteries if you purchase 2 of the cables shown in the video. If you want to max out at 6 batteries, two of them must be B300s batteries.
@@SolarWithSunjay Thanks mate 👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺❤️🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺
In the UK the eb3a and the ac2a are the same price.. why would anyone buy the ac2a if you can get a bugger battery, more features and twice the inverter power. They're also similar physical size.
The AC2A has a better design if you plan to use the UPS mode. Otherwise like you said, the EB3A has a larger battery.
@@SolarWithSunjay Do you mean visual design or there are some technical improvements that make AC2A work better as an UPS for PC ?
@@Andygofan there are technical improvements which makes it work better.
Tested it out on my bar fridge and it ran it for 13 hrs.at 27Watts. I find the app. is a bit wonky because it loses connection every once in a while and you have to detect again. Right now I am testing it on my apartment size fridge. Just scan the QR code in the instruction manual and you get the correct app. If you are powering a fridge or something that draws power intermittently turn the ECO mode off because if there is no power draw for too long the unit shuts off and does not automatically turn back on. It does not work on an apartment size fridge and indicates a power conversation short. Also had problems with cahrging from the wall plug. I would plug it in and hear a click showing it was on. When i lifted it off my desk to the floor it click again and the unit was no longer charging.
Thanks for sharing your findings!
Each battery has to be connected separately to update?
To update the BMS in the batteries, yes, they have to be connected individually
The best use I have for my eb3a is to remotely power my soldering iron without needing to run extension cords.
Great video, Sunjay! Thanks!
Of course!
Good stuff man!
Glad you liked it!
Great set up - thanks for sharing!
So I need to find a running water tap in the bush when I'm camping to make ice?
In order to have ice, you need to have clean water yes. You could use bottled water or turn off the ice maker if water is not available.
@@SolarWithSunjay but do I need to attach a hose to create running water? Or do I just fill up a water compartment?
@@renepirate great question. It just requires you to fill the ice compartment up to a line on the basket to make a full load of ice.
What tool did you use for thermal imaging?
I used the "TOPDON TC001" connected to my android phone.
Is it possible to connect this to the EB3A?
You can connect them to charge the EB3A from the AC2A, but not as a true expansion battery as it will not automatically charge itself. Does that make sense?
Sorry, if you are going to talk to people, LOOK at THEM. Move your promt notes behind the camera. Edited may I add the content was very good.
Noted! Thank for the feedback! This will be in incorporated going forward.
Awesome unboxing 👍
Thanks!
Pass through charging?
No, the unit shuts off "for safety" when charging.
Can you answer some questions? Where does the heat exhaust from it, does it flex and is it a tight enough fit to to keep the cooling plates on your neck or will it easily fall off? It looked like it wasn't fitting at all on some people with thin necks in the promotional videos.
Hello, I would be happy to answer questions! The heat escapes from the very back, away from the neck. It is rigid and does not flex at all. For me it sits on the neck/ shoulders and could fall off if you lean back or shake hard.
@@SolarWithSunjay I see, what are your thoughts, is it comfortable and does it cool well? I already own a torras coolify 2 but the Metaura looks like a superior product besides the rigid design.
@@Goldkoron it's a decent product. It cools okay but it comes and goes in waves, probably to keep a constant temperature and save on power. The fans add a nice touch, but doesn't feel noticably cooler. I don't have the coolify 2, but did compare against a product that just has cooling plates and that product gets colder.
@@SolarWithSunjay Thanks for your responses, going to order one on amazon anyway because I find the technology very fascinating. Considering the fact it's rigid I probably won't use it as a neck air conditioner for outdoor activity like I use my coolify 2, but it might still be good for indoor, especially with cooling plates in the back as well.
@@Goldkoron it is clearly a premium product in build and design. I think you will enjoy it.
What solar panels are you using, and how big is your array? I noticed it had about 420 watts of solar input when you were running your AC.
At the time of the video I was using 4 180 watt bougerv panels (see video 3: ua-cam.com/video/F8Qhrh_27uw/v-deo.html)
@@SolarWithSunjay Alright cool man yeah I just now watched the video and subscribed. Hopefully you'll upload more often what's the maximum amount of solar input you've seen with the 4 BougeRv solar panels you have right now I currently have two of them I have the polycrystalline ones. I've been thinking about getting a few of the ones like the ones you have
@@chivosadventures8171 it's hard to say, about 500-600 watts. I have since purchased a 5th 180 watts panel and have been able to max the unit out at 720 watts.
You need to check out the quality of the AC200 before you buy, I wish I had. ua-cam.com/video/m-Am_hqD4tg/v-deo.html
Mine has been rock solid and I have come to know Bluetti/ Maxoak as a trustworthy and reputable company that makes very high quality products.
Anyone know if you can charge the Ac200 with a dc to dc charger?
It should be possible, but you will be limited by the voltage and amps supported by each input source.
So far I'm loving mine great piece of tech
can you select the voltage to 220v or just the Hertz?
For this version with the 6 120v plugs, you can change between 120v and 100v (for Japan users?) And 50 or 60 hertz.
Thanks for taking the time to make the Video👍
Nice I have some 160W panels on order as well - looking forward to getting the AC200! Thanks for posting the review!
Can't wait to get mine!!!
question, for how long you were able to run a 14000 btu ac
Well today I was able to run it from about noon to 6pm and the AC200 still had 20% charge left. This was on a 91 degree day with the ac set to 75. So far I'm happy :)
@@SolarWithSunjay thank you very much for your feedback.👍🏻
Thank you! Can't wait to get mine. I also got 4 bougerv 180w panels, but they won't get here till October.
Yayy!! I'm starting this series. I'm so excited!!
You have one of a kind box! The word station is misspelled 😂
What ac unit is that? Model please?
It's the LG LW1517IVSM
