Never realized how different the PC and Xbox version look from each other.

Just look at the muzzle flash on the xbox version..looks way more crisp than ps. Everything about the xbox version is superior down to the frame rate being far smoother and from what I can remember from playing this when it came out the reflections from environments and blood puddles looks much more polished on xbox. Would love to see that comparison on here. Had so much fun playing this back in the day especially the swordplay!

I have all of them Xbox has some spot where you can glitch through whiles while on ps3 you get stuck in small gaps it over for you pc is some what kinda the best beside the games crashing in spots by schoolyard

Its no wonder they only ported the psp version to ps5 cuz the psp had better draw distance then ps2

both versions are very close. I prefer the colors on the ps3 and saw in some scenes slightly better textures on the Xbox.

Great game, surprised it only received mixed reviews. Kind of encourages me to check out other mixed reviewed games.

This game still looks so good to this day, the lighting is a huge improvement from the original in the pc version especially because xbox 360 looked better than pc in war for Cybertron

I don't give a shit about the Playstation / Xbox war (i own both consoles) but it looks much better on Xbox (not really a surprise, The Xbox was more powerful). higher polygon count, texture resolution (and resolution as a whole), double the framerate, higher draw distance... It's a shame though that the Xbox version has those weird horizontal lines at the top and bottom of the screen (not present in this video, probably edited out). But other than that, the Xbox version was the way to go back then. I would argue that today, unless you still have your OG Xbox, the PS2 version is way easier to access thanks to the emulation. But if you have your Xbox, that's the best version by far.

Justo el vídeo q estaba buscando. En pc hay 60 fps rn en consolas 30 fps. Y aunque tengo la ps3 hay q fecir la verdad en xbox se ve un pequeñín con mas detalles, pero en ps3 tiene un poco mejor de iluminación/contraste

It's odd. The PS3 version looks "worse"... but also more atmospheric? Idk, the chunkiness kinda helps the atmosphere here.

The Xbox 360 version was an achievement in optimization for that system's hardware. The PS3's segmented memory really stifled the game, like most PS3 games, sadly. The 64-bit/updated version for PC/newer consoles is a slight visual upgrade in most regards, but the warmer color palette they gave Skyrim seemed a bit off theme to me personally. So, I think the Xbox 360 version is the best.

The PS1 version is different enough to merit its own play through. Actually my favorite version. It really should be considered an altogether different game, like the Game Boy Color version, even if it's largely the same.

PlayStation 2 has some lighting effect in the Banzai Bonsai, where Coco's shadow is projected onto a curtain that is missing from the other versions, because it was a graphics trick making use of the PS2's unique hardware. Not a deal breaker by any means. The Xbox gives Crash and Coco a pixel shader fur coat effect. Some love it, some hate it. GameCube is basically nothing special. The original PS2 release has long loading times, whereas the Greatest Hits re-release (and GameCuve/Xbox versions) has the loading times optimized. All versions are good enough to enjoy. It's entertaining to find all the little differences.

Xbox was the best console in terms of performance and visuals. Used to argue with my cousin who was always saying games looked better on the PS2 🤣

Ps1 all the way. For a old console compared to the Dreamcast it wasn't doing so bad. The Dreamcast couldn't bring any thing new after all. Also, not sure why you have put the gama so high for the ps1.. the colours look washed away. This is not what the game look like on my side. The Dreamcast wasn't that good we see why now.

the pc version is definitely the way to go and with it only being $2 on fanatical seems like the best purchase.

Xbox version looks insanely sharp over component, Gamecube is fuzzy around the edges but still crisper than PS2 which looks jagged also runs at 1/2 the framerate. good video

Even now with emulation you can feel how Dreamcast was good. I've never play original DC in my life before, but recently I was playing around with my Android and Deck handhels, and I tried Redream emulator just out of curiosity. Damn, so nice looking games, no PSX's blur and models wobbling, no poor technical quality like in many PC ports, just overall feels and plays better. All of this creates some cool smoothe vibe, I can't explain it, sorry I recommend play Dreamcast version of this game, and not only it

Ps1 graphics are horrible. When navigating the walls would move all weird like. Alot of games came out like that. It really was horrible.
