3:19 It's not "in the winds" it's "and the when's". If you're going to transcribe something at least listen and understand the video instead of lazily throwing together a bunch of random clips for clicks and views.

What I hate the most with motivational speeches is that, if you're not "successful", whatever the reasons are, it makes you feel worse than if you did not hear the speech in the first place. It's easy to give advices when you're successful and easier to criticize those who are not. Our ego push us to believe and claim that we are responsible for our successes and not for our failures, when in reality there's way more people involved in the state of our situation, people that we don't even know about. So don't be too quick to blame yourself when you "fail", or to claim all the credit for yourself when you "succeed". Worth does not exist, nor does equality or freedom, those are just concepts. We are just living being trying to do what is the most profitable for ourselves according to our physical, social and spiritual environment, whatever "profitable" means. Some people have a happy life, some people don't. Neither are responsible of their situation, but the mind needs to believe to something, so we write our own story.

That loud and very unnecessary music makes parts of the dialogue difficult to hear. Why do you think you are making this speech better with music?

actors should. . . . act. Motivational speech by a multimillionaire (many times over) fortunate enough to have been born with the physique of a greek god and an uncanny gift for acting. Acting, people. Doing make-believe for cameras is playing. It's not real. MM can fondle my balls - it's about as much value as motivational advice from an absurdly wealthy actor. C'mon people . .. . y'all have real lives, working real jobs, mostly for bosses who could give a rat's ass about motivation. Mattie should be getting advice from y'all, not the other way around

If think Matthew McConaughey is qualified to run for public office for the following reasons: He is handsome-He is a great actor- He has a beautiful-family-He has famous friends--He has is charismatic. You are wrong. That is not a reason to vote for someone. We must stop voting for people like they were running for Homecoming king or queen The people WE elect to office are SUPPOSED to be running our country on our behalf. But if you have taken time to Listen to the man, you know he has an honest concern about our nation and indeed has solutions and a true interest on how to make our country a better place to live. Please vote for the man. Heed his advise.

Great words. I wish I had heard them 60 years ago. If like me, you're approaching your final years, forgive yourself if you haven't yet found yourself. In a way you have. No one stays the same. Set aside all of the noise of your thoughts. You may not have found your best self, but you have worked with what you had, what you still have now. There is no one who has not known compromise, not known failure. There is so little real peace in this life. Let yourself be at peace, first with yourself.
