This is the 2nd or 3rd rip card I’ve pulled and ripped. They are such a fun experience. I know they sell for a good amount on the secondary market but I just can’t imagine selling one and not knowing what’s inside it.

With teaching history it’s hard enough to keep the kids attention. You have to connect with the students to get that buy in. If the students don’t see the human side of you there’s no way they are gonna care about anything you’re trying to teach them.

@@zachcollectsstuff3378 Preaching to the congregation teach. Love history, but some of the teachers I had turned their back on the class and chalked the board or read straight from the text. Loathed those styles and did poor in their classes, even though I loved history since childhood. Good on ya!

@@BroxBoysErinJordyn4923 I don’t have too many top shelf cards most of my sales are the 5-20$ range. I usually have my showcase cards 10-15 bigger cards (75$+) and most of the time I don’t move too many of them. But it is nice to have them on the table and they definitely drive conversation with buyers

Thanks for watching! This was such a great collection to go through. I’m not a huge basketball guy but this era was when I actually paid attention to the players so I have an affinity for these players and the 1990’s inserts of them.

@ you mentioned you collect Grant Hill. I also collected Hill and have a couple of rare cards of his, namely GH0 which is the full gold foil insert from ‘94 Skybox Premium

@ I do collect grant hill. I’m not a huge basketball collector but if I find/come across his cards in other collections I always set them aside. He was such a dynamic player on an otherwise lacking pistons team in the 90’s/early 00’s. Loved watching him.

@@KennethKnueppel make sure to check sold listings as well. That should give you a better idea of what people are paying for them. You can also use a site called 130point. That finds comps as well.

@@guardiangibbs2663 that was a great toy! I only ever had the smaller sets as a child but I loved them and my hotwheels.

@@KennethKnueppel if it is the purple foil it looks like there are a couple sold in the 15-25$ range. If it’s the silver pack purple probably 25$+. There are a bunch listed in the 40-60$ range but actual sold comps are about half that.

@@thepassionatepackrat1988 I will definitely buy some more at some point. Maybe I will search out some of the singles instead but they are a fun open for sure.

@@paulpagani182 I paid 129$ for the hobby box. But I also had 40$ off because of the mvp buyback Ohtani card. Super cool/unique cards. Fun rip and for hobby boxes it’s probably the most affordable right now. I got mine at baseball card exchange in northwest indiana. But you can probably find them at most local card shops or one of the major online retailers like Dave and Adams cardworld or blowout cards those are the two that I use when buying boxes online. You may be able to find them unopened on eBay as well.
