Such a treatment for early stage Diabetic Neprhopathy is a nice high dose (higher than normal) of an ACE inhibitor (high blood pressure) medication. Sadly, doctors and nephrologists don't push this treatment and people wait until it is too late, then they need to be on a kidney machine. This form of CKD is 90 to 95 percent of Dialysis, and I think there should be a PSA telling people to know their creatinine as a creatinine below 2.0 is the type that can easily be reversed by that ACE inhibitor.
