I struggled with this for a couple of hours, looking at this video and others over and over again between bouts of almost losing patience and aching hands. Ultimately I decided that the videos weren't going to tell me what I needed to know. I pulled out the light receptacle as much as I was able and looked into all the crevices to see if there was something obstructing - and there was! There is a wedge-shaped (?) piece protruding from bottom of the the light fixture that fits into a receptacle piece in the body of the vehicle below it. It's about 2 inches from the inner edge of the light fixture on the bottom. I used a slim screwdriver to wedge the two parts over each other and the light fixture came out easily after that. If you don't do this, it seems like you need the grip and strength of Hercules as well as a bit of luck to pull the fixture out in just the way the wedge-shaped piece allows without breaking it. You can catch a glimpse of the bottom part of this piece at about 1:57 just below the right side of his elbow.
