really sound too much compressed (not really open) I way prefer fgx3 and LL16, but this one is the one that should be the best for stage. Maybe a tusk nut and saddle could fix that tinny sound ?

It's nice to have a demo posted by someone that isn't banging on the stings like a chimpanzee . I'm still undecided on which cutaway to purchase . I like the Yairi gym 80 ce but it's so expensive 🤔😊

IMO I prefer the Martin as a stand alone . The Santa Cruz has less lower end and more high end . This could come in handy when placing in a song mix . Both a really nice guitars but overall Martin guitars are my favorite when it's a solo singer songwriter situation . Gibson acoustics are great for a song mix or band situation . I look at guitars as tools to create . A lot of great songs have been done with cheap acoustics . The dynamics of some cheap acoustics just do the trick . If done with a high quality acoustic the song would lose its overall vibe .

I want to ask the difference between LL16 and A2R guitar. They have the same rosewood material, different EQ but the same price.Please tell me !Thanks.

Quick story ; 4 years ago I went to a guitar store to see a friend, He was busy so he asked me to wait and handed me this guitar and said play this while you wait, when he returned , I had bought the guitar .A3R. Love it ! Recently I bought the AC3M, love it !

Mine has a loud hum until I hold the cable at the jack or touch my RC 300 looper surface and variety 1 & 2 are unresponsive. Also low output.

Rare Earth Blend, all the way! To my ears it’s one of the most natural sounding pickups currently available. I picked one up recently and have been very pleased with it.

After everyone speaking volumes about the Baggs Anthem, I got one for my J45. I just got an HD28 and I’m looking for a pickup. Even the Anthem doesn’t really sound natural to me. Just started looking at soundhole pickups and started with the Duncan. This is way better than that and more natural sounding than th Anthem for sure, from what I can tell thru video. So far I’m sold. Great video. I like the rare earth blend

Back In 2013-2014 when these first came out mine is a 2014 J-15 I ABed both the J-35, J-45, and the J-15. Most of the reviews of this group of Gibsons the J-15 won. I bought my J-15 off of American Musical Supply. Because of the beautiful Walnut was flamed with what I would say was folded Angel Wings sapwood running down the back. The first years of the J-15s were custom made by Gibson. And had a very warm sound. I installed super jumbo stainless steel frets and a flame Pickguard and Kluson locking tuners

A/B'd one of these and a OO 18 one day. Walked away with the 18. So much more alive. But, if they had not had the 18, I would probably have one of these.

It is really a great guitar. Between the too bassy j45 and the too bright songwritter... an incredible pathfinder . What a shame they stop the manufacturing....
